Really appreciate you posting this song. Touching song, feels close to our situation, even made my wife cry. (Not sure she was too keen on the second vet in a month, but now the car has extra meaning).
the dealer doesn’t remember what branch of service, I’m going to try to look up the owner’s detail when the title gets to me and put the proper military logo under the hood somewhere.
Your new Vette is very similar to mine. I didn't catch if it was an auto or manual. It appears that you're adapting to the car and community quite well. May you and your family enjoy many miles in it.

I just finished reading the whole thread and have to say that you are one first class individual who really has his priorities in order. Thank you for sharing your story, it has really made my morning and made me think twice before I complain about anything. Guys like you really make this forum great. Keep the posts coming.

Regardless of the branch of service I'm sure all current and former military members appreciate your thoughts and actions. Semper Fi.

This was the day he fell in love with cars. Car in question was a 987 Cayman Porsche.
(short video)
Just don't get more happy than this. He was younger here of course.
This is yesterday with the new Vette:
We will both be at the Bash at the end of this week in Bowling Green, and will be at the forum dinner as well. Hope to see many of you there.

This next part isn't very C7-ish, but many of you have expressed interest in my son's well-being. Since Kaden cannot walk or talk, is a quadriplegic, legally blind, and can only use one finger well, we try to find things he can do and enjoy. Obviously car rides is one of them. The other is music. His ears are fine (thank God). So since i used to play some music back in the day, I discovered that some "live" music for Kaden can calm him down even while at hospitals, so I tend to travel with a guitar when he has surgeries (he has had 15 already).
So I have been making some "music videos" of sorts for him to always have access to on his device of us doing some songs together. This helps to calm him down if needed when i'm not around or out on a business trip, etc.. Also, its sort of an archive of my affection for him if I pass away before he does so he can remember these things.
Here is one of the videos where Kaden actually plays a bit of the harmonica, that was a stretch, but it was a lot of fun. Video is the best way to understand what someone is really like, so without further ado... Here is Kaden!

Dang you and Kaden both have some talent. He did a great job.
Fast cars, musical and singing abilities, Packers and Zac Brown fan, and a great father. I like your style.
And the Vette looks awesome.
