Lucky for me, this morning's flurries didn't stick around and the sun came back out and temps climbed a bit (to 38F) so after I watched the Formula 1 race I went on another 67 mile drive, to nowhere in particular. (thus, no pics) The weather is going to be iffy most of this week so I most likely won't get to drive it again until Friday or Saturday. On the plus side, once it gets to May here in Ontario, our weather gets really amazing and from that point until mid October we are blessed with 90% sunny skies and temps between 70 to 85. It's a lot like a Florida winter here during that time actually

Just got home from a 2500 mile round trip from seattle to vegas. Heres a " turn around and look at my new car" truck stop Nevada.

You bet brother. My bride, and I were blessed to be natives of the area. We live approx. 10 miles from Charlotte Motor Speedway, and of course Mooresville along with all the race shops are near. My brother, and his family lived beside the Earnhardt's on Coach St. when I was growing up. We had a great time playing around, and in the garage while Ralph was racing. Of course he was my favorite driver back in the dark ages when racing was real.

And we all still miss Dale.

The weather was strange here yesterday, most of the morning was in the low 30s and raining. But after lunch the skies cleared and the temperatures soared! By dinner time it was up to 65 degrees and sunny. So I went for a little 50 mile cruise, with basically no destination although I did stop at Walmart for a few things at the end of the trip

Yesterday, Thursday, in Central VA it was nice, but a little windy. The Vette got to take me to work. Today, Friday it is to get in the low 80's so the Vette got to take me to work again.

Out on the Blue Ridge Parkway on Friday, heading to a family run first generation Sicilian Restaurant for lunch. Pizza Pasta Salad and dessert buffet for $7.99. Mama mia! The Parkway's speed limit is 45mph, but we go slower if we can to savor the moment. 84 degrees by the dash thermometer; so keeping the top popped i directed the a/c into the footwells, decadent. What a bass note from the track setting of the pipes! (ride in tour for the cloud-like softness)
