This is a great idea for a thread!

It is pretty chilly out there this morning, just 30 degrees, but the sun is shining bright and the roads were pretty empty so I thought I'd go for a quick 25 mile drive just for the heck of it Of course, in keeping with the nature of this thread, I stopped for a photo op too (it was a little too early to grab a nice juicy burger though)

Lol, made it all the way to my driveway for full spring cleaning and de-salting. Mid 50s and sunny. Heres the finished product.

I took my GS out for a drive out in the country yesterday morning. It's especially amazing on a winding country road. I believe they run even better in the brisk-chilly air.

Snapped a photo just before putting her back in the garage, it was a beautiful morning.

It was yesterday, but enjoyed a nice drive in the foothills with a quick stop at the confluence of the north fork and middle fork of the American river in Auburn, CA.

No pictures from the drive (sorry) but I drove to Walmart this morning looking for half price Easter chocolate (no luck, they sold out of the one I like), then off to the gym again. Then this afternoon I went to NAPA to see if they had any Mobil 1 5w30 ESP in stock (they did not) On the way back, since I was craving a burger since yesterday, I stopped off at a Canadian burger chain called Harvey's and grabbed 2 burgers for $6. Yummy. It's sunny and 46 here now, but this morning it was quite chilly (below the freezing mark) I'm still waiting for that first 70 degree day to happen here, heck we got up to 65 degrees here on February the 28th so I thought for sure we'd crack 70 sometime in March but we didn't. Oh well, at least it hasn't snowed here for a very long time, even the ginormous snowpiles in the mall parking lots are completely melted now. I now have 2168 miles on my C7, so in the 3 months I've owned it I've probably driven just as much as some people in warmer climates drive in one full year (even more impressive considering that I didn't drive it at all from Dec 21 to Jan 21 due to the snow we had here during that period)

The sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud in sight, so I took the C7 out for a 60 mile drive, even though it was chilly the entire time (temperature ranged from 30-33F) I got home just in time though, the last 10 minutes of my trip the skies clouded over quickly and flurries started about a mile from my house. Old Man Winter just doesn't get the message that his time is up for another year and he should go away

I never get tired of seeing your car on this site. Stunning...when/if I make the decision to get one, its going to be a GS in either Silver with chrome wheels, or Watkins Glen with chrome wheels. Just unsure of the red interior. I think it's beautiful, but not sure I would love it long term. Regardless, your car is awesome.
