Default Extended Warranty Now that Dennis can’t sell to CA?

I live in California and as of March 1st Dennis can no longer offer Extended Warranty plans to anyone in CA. SUPER LAME but I guess another price we pay for sunshine and beautiful women. My warranty on my 16 Z07 is up in August. What are my options now?

The Peoples Republic of California strikes again... I really don't understand why people flock to live there. Every place has its issues but CA seems to have more than others. Sure; the weather is great near the coast but it can't be worth it.

Does anyone have a recommendation for another source of extended warranty?

There are a lot of dealers in your area - have you checked with any of them?

Your option is the same as it has always been for most of us anyway... just drive it and fix what needs it, if it ever does.

Extended warranties are cash cows for the companies selling them and as all the research shows very few ever get back what they cost. Yeah, yeah, everyone knows someone who... Continue to enjoy your car and buy more life insurance, if you feel you must.

How does that cost/coverage compare with what Dennis would sell you? were you able to determine if the warranties are different in some way?

When your ******* deep in snow or it's 30 below then ask me that question. I was born and raised in Northern Va, until 2006 and don't miss it one bit.

I lived in Michigan until I was 24. Moved to CA after college and three years later moved to Vegas - I've been here since '92. Perfect? Not even close but it works. Yes; its hot in Las Vegas for three months but otherwise its nice. No snow.

There are a ton of places in the West to live where the weather isn't horrible like it is back in the East or Mid-West without having to deal with California and its exorbitant amount of BS. Most of the state isn't even nice. Its hot $hitty desert.

My dealer got the quotes from Ally Major Guard. It was:

Ally major guard
60/75 $3743.00
72/72 $3705.00
48/48 $3165.00

It is worth it in San Diego even if we are WAY down south. Beats living in hell (Nevada, Arizona). Played that game. Every place has its issues.

it's not all desert, there's a lot of different types of locals here in SoCal.
