While I love the look of red calipers especially on bright wheels, as dvilin I believe red would look out of place on your 'blacked-out" theme C7.

Anybody know where I can get the "Corvette" sticker to lay over my self painted calipers???? Hi temp of course. I've asked the dealer, no go there.
I think the factory wanted $ 550. as an option, but my G3 red paint was my $ 30. option with 2 coats and the brushes.

I appreciate the input. In fact, it will probably save me some big $$. The wife insisted that I query the site for opinions as mine doesn't carry alot of weight! I have shared these opinions with her and she is finally understanding the concept.

NO! Why on earth would you want your brake calipers to be the first and most noticeable thing on... ANY car? I've never understood, sorry.

Car looks great the way it is. In fact I would say you should smoke the red lenses on the tail lights and side markers. If you had red interior or stitching or red hash marks or stripes I would say red calipers. Seeing as it’s all black I would keep the calipers black. Really looks good now.

I have the same look with blacked out side markers and rear reflectors. What we need is red "Corvette" letters on our calipers.

What the heck, I will say paint them red. Some color in the wheel area is not a bad thing and will really set the car off IMO.

I say do them in some kinda contrasting color with a thin pin stripe on the outer wheel lip that would tie it nicely. Or look for some colored scripts on eBay or local vinyl shop.
