Must have been done not so good it is as durable as any other chrome as long as done correct. But you pay more for the black chrome. I have a set in the for sale section that is spot on for a reg c7 not z06 set up. Robert

I have Black Chrome on my V2, had CCW 600s Black Chrome on my V1, they look better than both black and chrome, very unique, they will look lighter / darker change based on brightness of day, they scuff easier, but are definitely a crowd pleaser.
I have a spare set of OE C7Z rims and will do black chrome when time allows:

Definitely chrome if you want that exterior to "pop".

Finalist 2020 C7 of the Year -- Unmodified
Well I am over 50 and Black only for me as I had chrome on all my C6's. On the C7 their is a lot of Black accents on the car that match the rims!

I am 57 and have never had a car with chrome wheels.
I prefer painted wheels or brushed metal. But everyone has their own preference.

Both chrome and black chrome can be very pretty on the right colored car. Just realize you're picking a finish that's not as easily repaired from curb rash and the like as a painted wheel. Knowing that going in, enjoy your choice!

It's totally a preference thing, no one can decide for you.
I do believe chrome wheels makes most colors "pop" more as has been mentioned.
"Chrome black" does "pop" more than standard black wheels.
I don't like how black wheels can blend in and look like empty wheel wells from a distant. A good looking chrome wheel highlights a C7 from any distance.

Black chrome... IMO chrome is too much bling for the 'vette and pure black is a non starter... If I spend a chunk of change on rims, I want to be able to see and enjoy them, and black wheels look to me like something's missing where the wheels normally live...
