Default Pocket gage question

Pocket gages on my 2016 Z51 are set at oil pressure(left) and oil temp(right). I already have oil temp showing on the fixed gage next to the DIC. I would like to change the right pocket gage to show battery voltage but so far my best efforts have failed. Need some forum HELP!

I assume your display is set to sport mode. Use the right arrow button on the steering wheel. You will see choices to let you select the left and right pocket gauge display. BTW the hard gauge is coolant temp, not oil temp.

This chart should help you navigate the DIC:

Not my charts, but from another forum member. Lots of good info up in the sticky threads section.

If the PDF didn't help, follow these steps. It's a bit arcane but you'll get the knack of it after a few tries.
  • Hit the < next to SEL on right of steering wheel.
  • Scroll V to Options
  • Hit SEL at Pocket Gauges
  • > then SEL at Edit Gauges
  • <> to select right or left gauge
  • v or ^ to select the gauge
  • SEL to back into the first menu, go back up to Info, and hit SEL
Now, a question for the OP. How did you get OT on the fixed gauge? I didn't know it was changeable and I don't see a reference to that in the manual. Mine shows coolant temp.

one thing i don t like about the pocket guages, no water temp available. Unless one puts in tour mode and perormance, i think are the settings, then water temp, oil pressure, oil temp and battery i think it is.

Water temp is a misnomer, it's coolant temp. No one should be putting in 100% water into the coolant system.

I usually have my Z06 instrument panel set sport mode with coolant temperature as a gauge in the DIC area with oil pressure and oil temp pocket gauges to either side. The Z06 replaces the dedicated coolant temperature gauge with a manifold pressure gauge.

I would much prefer the engine coolant temp as a dedicated gauge with "boost" selectable as a secondary gauge in the configurable section of the IP. It isn't a parameter you really need to watch on a regular basis unlike coolant temp.
