I've been considering these since I picked up the car. Probably need to order a set and see what they're about.

I got the blue & chrome look. They will not fit the steering column slot if you need to insert to start the car.

Been using the one below from 2013 when my FOB separated from the key after I pulled it out of my Jeans pocket! I was fortunate the FOB stayed in my pocket. A forum poster said they lost their FOB when they found their key ring with keys had the C7 key without a FOB! It was lost! Caused me to buy this cover.
To remove the key you have to pull the silicone edge covers back first! Comes in colors so you can have one for your significant other! My 2014 Z51 key separated from the FOB very easy. Not so easy with the Grand Sport but like the red! Makes it easy to see in the draw where I keep it!

Have a white cover on mine purchased from Amazon. Had 2nd thoughts immediately after putting it on since it does add a little bulk to the fob but I really like it now. Not enough to notice and it serves the purpose- for me to protect the fob itself and to reduce inadvertent button presses.

Melting Slicks
I bought the silicone over. I like that it makes it less slippery and less likely to fall out of pocket and covers over key part less chance of separation. I think it was around $ 8.00 (2) included shipping.

FYI, I have one of these and have a hard time seeing the graphics on the fob. Although it does keep it snug in your pocket since the rubber is sticky. If you don't need to see what button you are pushing go for it.
I am now looking for something else.
