TC replacement
My car is going in for the TC replacement, I understand that a lot of the back end of the car comes apart to do this job. My question is does the dealer have to remove the fuel tanks when this job is done? I didnt want to top off the car if the tanks need to be removed?

Why would you even think about taking car for repair with full tanks?
What is TC? Traction control?

It dawned on me he meant torque converter later.. talking about fuel tanks in the rear threw me off..
I think the answer to the question is that the drive train can be removed without taking out the tanks.

You can ask them to add ballast weight in the trunk and hope they do it right, or add weight yourself and hope they don't move it.
I'm lazy, I just fill up before that kind of work.
