~4,000 is more like a milestone then a goal. The thousands of friends that I have met a long the way have been just as rewarding and more. My guess is that my 5,000th Corvette sold will come around mid 2022...did I say mid? as in mid engine? Car and Driver this month has the supposed Mid Engine Corvette featured and all that does is sell magazines not cars. After 40 years selling GM vehicles all I can tell you that you should wait until GM announces the vehicle.
~April 24th-27th I will be at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY.
The Corvette Bash is well worth attending so look me up and say hi. I'm sure our conversation will be about... Corvettes!

~Mike H. Of Boonsboro, MD is lucky #4,000 and Richard aka Mr. 3,000 even showed up for picture opportunities! Mike’s new 2018 GS Convt is a 2LT Pkg with Auto trans and the brushed alum wheels. The only Sebring Orange GS Convt with these wheels produced for the 2018 model year! Mike has bought 3 Corvettes from me since 2009 and this time he traded in his 2013 60th Anniv Convt. I brought my 67 Corvette to work for the very first time for the festivities.

And his wife of Lancaster, NY last visited Criswell 5/22/13 when his Corvette Club of Buffalo took a road trip and I hosted them for a tour and handed out 20 goodie bags to one and all. 8 weeks ago they ordered their 6th Corvette! Their very first was a brand new 1962! Their new 2019 Grand Sport is Torch Red with Red interior, Auto trans, 2LT Pkg and much more. They came down Friday night and drove home after switching out their 2014 Corvette that I had given them a sight unseen trade appraisals two months ago.

~Brent M. Of Edmond, Oklahoma has followed me on the Forums so a few weeks ago he decided to reach out to me about a Corvette. I had just what he was seeking about to be built so he put his name on it. His new Corvette is a Watkins Glen Gray 2019 Grand Sport Cpe with Adrenaline Red interior. This stock order has the 1LT Pkg, CF badges, Red calipers, 7 speed manual trans, Black Wheels and CF painted mirrors. Once the paperwork/payment portion gets completed via Fed Ex then his new Corvette Grand Sport will be shipped via Plycar enclosed Trucking to Brent’s home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
~John K. Of Henderson, Nevada called me 7 weeks ago to factory order a 2019 Corvette Z06. He had it shipped to Criswell first to have our mechanics do the PDI and then we started the paperwork/payment process via Fed Ex. This week Plycon Trucking will pick it up and take it cross country to his home in Nevada. John’s new Black Z06 has the following equipment: 2LZ Pkg, 7 spd manual trans, Black Wheels, and Navigation/PDR.

~Ed R. Of Lakewood Ranch, Florida attends Corvettes at Carlisle every few years and that’s where we first met. He called me up and chose a 2019 Orange GS Convt from stock and I gave him a sight unseen value on his 17 Black Rose stick GS Convt with 10k Miles. We made the deal in minutes. He left Florida Wednesday for the 995 mile trip up to make the switch. He arrived at 2:15pm Thursday and left at 2:45pm!! Record time in and out of the business office put him back on the road quick! Equipment list includes Auto trans, CF badge Pkg, Black Wheels, cf mirrors, Navigation/PDR and 2LT Pkg. This was my 3,999th Corvette delivery.

Big Wow if you ever get to see this color combo in person!! Sebring Orange Tintcoat with gray interior and gray top and gray dual racing stripes! Equipment list includes: CF ground effects Pkg, Black calipers, 7 spd manual trans, 10 spoke blade wheels, cf painted mirrors, 2LZ Pkg and microfiber inserts on the seats. They traded in their 10k mile 2016 Laguna Blue Z06 and never looked back! This New 2019 Z is a Show all in itself.

Congratulations Mike on reaching an outstanding achievement!!! I expected to hear that Chevrolet had provided a brass band for the delivery of #4000 - Maybe that's yet to come when they make a special presentation to you. You deserve all the accolades that may come your way.

As nice as all of those new Corvettes are, your Vette might be the best looking. The paint looks fantastic! The color combination is one of my two favorite color combinations.

Congrats, Mike Furman, on reaching Corvette sale #4,000!!!! That is truly an amazing milestone and you likely made history. Anyone call the Guiness Book of World Records people yet?
Favorite photo is probably the blue 1967 parked at Criswell Chevrolet OR the top-rear view picture of the orange 1963 with the triple tail lights. I still want to cringe when I see some of the old Corvettes wasting away or the abominations that some folks do when they cross it with something that resembles a Ford Thunderbird or Cadillac Seville. Yuck!
I am in Aruba right now on vacation. Have not seen a single Corvette here at all - but I did see ONE yellow early 2000s Mustang GT convertible. The most popular cars here are very small Hyundais (our Accent rental car is one of the "typical" vehicles), compact pickup trucks and odd-looking minivans that they don't sell in the USA. I have seen one right-hand-drive Toyota so far - which is odd because they drive on the same side of the road here as we do in the USA.
Very few traffic signals here - but plenty of "roundabouts" that seem to work just as well or better than controlled intersections. People here are friendly and they almost all speak Dutch, Spanish AND English.
This island is maybe 20 miles tall and 10 miles wide, so there really isn't anywhere you could enjoy a car such as a Corvette - and fuel costs a lot more here than in the USA.
