Some of the features I like best about the Vert (besides the obvious)
To me, the Vert's waterfall add's so much to the look of the C7's interior as opposed to an open storage area and just one of the many reasons I prefer the Vert:
Anyone who has or has had earlier Corvette convertibles appreciates the C7 rubber rear deck lid molding that protects your top gasket from staining your paint.
The traditional trunk where you can conceal and lock up valuables and that coup owners typically think is so small.
Anyone else have features you like (or dislike) about the Vert except the obvious amazing feel of driving in an open cockpit?
Thanks in advance for your views and comments!

I like the 2 black carbon fiber thingamabobs (what are they called) behind the seats-also like the fact the area they reside is raised-like the bat mobile.

I would have preferred the convert. But I need every bit of the trunk space the coupe. The convert has only 60% of what the coupe will hold. Darn! But I like the looks of the convert better than the coupe and the fact that it is a quieter ride. Yours looks tremendous.

Not many realize it, but the interior of the vert with the top up is much quieter than the coupe with the top on.

I have had an Audi tt vert, an Audi S5 vert and now a C7. I am amazed how much better the air flow is controlled with the Corvette vert with the top down. Both Audies even had rear wind guards!
One unusual and very minor observation: Have you noticed how the sound system changes some setting just as the top gets latched when closing? I like the setting it has when down better.

If that's how you travel, then I guess you picked the right car for you. Hope you don't have to stop really quickly.
Otherwise, on a practical level, you can pack as much in a Vert with the top up as in a coupe with the top on. With the top down/off and stowed, there is more room in a Vert for luggage.
Choosing the most efficient type of luggage can make more of a difference than the type of Corvette.

Only if you only drive with the top up and load it so you can't see out the rearview mirror.

one more advantage to the convertible
no egg crate opening above the real wheels on the body . especially in a non z51 car where the opening is not a functional opening . must be difficult to clean and it breaks up those clean body lines

i also appreciate how the trunk is sized exactly for grocery bags and keeps them in place during rather spirited drives home!

I don't get the need to justify a vert as better than the coupe. People like what they like.
If you want a vert, and like them better, fine.
If you like the coupe, get a coupe.
The need to justify one's preferences as truly being a better choice than another option is silly.

I understand completely Kevin. I've been a rag top guy for many years, but this C7 is the best I've ever owned. And the deck lid molding is the best thing sense sliced bread. No more worry about dust, and dirt getting between the stripping and the paint.

Best decision I ever made in buying my 2nd new Corvette in 41 years, was going with the convertible body. I love everything about it. 💚

I had both a coupe and convertible at the same time, there were pros and cons to both, but in the end I'm now buying coupes, each year when I upgrade. It's all a matter of preference, they are beautiful and fun, but I like the sleek look of the coupe back window, plus I live in a snowy state.
