So while not difficult, the problem is most of us would likely need to work on several cars before developing a level of competency that 'might' be acceptable beside the work of a pro. I won't practice on my car, and don't want to spend the time and effort teaching myself to apply plastic film. Totally a case of personal choice in my view, but not worth it on a few levels.
