Caliper Color?

If there's a color you like better than the red then go with it.

Personally, if the calipers color match the body color (exactly) and you like the look, go for it. If it's not a match, I'd pass (or have them painted to match exactly afterwards). AR - yes LBR- I'd leave them gray. To my eye it looks cleaner

Red would be fine with me.

I would go with yellow. Nice contrast and it gives it a hint of Ferrari.

In addition to the body color - LBR is great; saw a GS in that color today at Cars & Coffee on Hilton Head - Consider the wheel color...if a black wheel I'd do red calipers...with a shiny wheel I'd do black...just my 2 cents.

Red looks great with LBR. Back in the day Duesenberg often trimmed maroon with bright red. Looked real sporty together.

^^^....this! My suggestion is to either make them Long Beach Red or use a secondary color you've already incoporated within the car.

I had black calipers on my Long Beach red 17 Grand Sport. They were no cost and matched up with all of the other black parts on the car.
I agree with the body color calipers posts. If GM offered Admiral blue calipers, I would have gotten them when I ordered my 18 GS.

All this talk about calipers, and nobody asked what his choice of wheels was. The choice of wheel finish will have an effect on how much the calipers stand out, and how well it integrates with the car as a whole.

LBR and caliper color
I am sending this picture of my LBR Z06. Hopefully you can make the picture larger to see the difference. I ended up ordering black as the red calipers are torch red, and to me they just clashed. The black kind of dissapears in the wheel but is a nice clean look. My brother has a torch red Z and the red calipers look great. To each his own!

Caliper color
I love really red calipers, however, in my opinion red calipers do not look good with Long Beach Red (which is a great color). I passed on a Long Beach Red with red calipers - they don't match and that was an issue for me.
Of course, it's really what you think that matters, but just my 2 cents.

I chose matte black calipers, behind my gloss black wheels, to emphasize the wheels. I felt that red or any other caliper color would have been too showy.

I have since changed the silvery valve stem covers to black ones.
