Default No wind, no clouds and 62 degrees-first detail and day out! Spring is here!

No wind or clouds and it was 62 degrees today a perfect SPRING day finally today in Plymouth Massachusetts! Detailed the complete car in my driveway for the first time since November and took it for its first ride of 2018 down the Plymouth waterfront with the top down of course! Anyone else been taking their babies out yet???

Finally got mine out today and put 190 miles on it. Sunny and 59 degrees top up this time around. One thing that became obvious was no matter what gear I was in power was there, that 650 pounds of torque makes one hell of a difference. Hopefully weather cooperates and I can get to the 500 mile mark soon so I can get a real taste of that power.

I celebrate with you. First day it’s been sunny and warm in six months here in Portland Oregon. The weather forecast for the next five fives is sunny skies and temps reaching 82 degrees.

Went on a long drive on the back country roads. Lots of smiles per miles today.

As I have mentioned on here all winter, I have been driving my C7 a lot since I got it in December (I have 2859 miles on it now, with 417 of those being added this weekend!), we had a lot of dry roads over the winter, but it was also generally around the freezing mark for most of those drives too.

But this weekend was a real turnaround point here, as we're now getting into that time of the year where our real nice weather begins (last weekend we had a wicked ice storm that lasted two days!!) and sticks around until at least well into October (and sometimes well into November too) It was well into the 60s both days here this weekend and barely a cloud in sight too. And it's only going to get warmer from here on out. It feels great to be driving with the windows down and it's also nice that my other Corvette friends are bringing their cars out too (went on a short cruise yesterday with 7 other Corvettes in fact)

Just as my personalized license plates say, it's TIME4SUN!

Looking good Dave. This old southern boy just can't imagine parking his Vette for the winter.

Dave, your car looks real sharp. I've had mine out over the weekend and have it here with me at works today as well. Went out for a blast at lunch time with the top down.

Me too. Summer tires and MRC update on Wednesday at MacMulkin. Of course it's supposed to rain.

Yes, but my wait for this drive wasn't to due with the weather, but rather, waiting for ADOT to finish the new asphalt on the southern end of the Apache Trail (SR-88). Low speed limit still in place as the guard rails are not up yet. Fun turns nonetheless.
