Add dry oil sump for 2016 base Stingray
Can a dry oil sump be put on a 6.2 base stingray to support a supercharger or can I safely add a supercharger without a dry oil sump?

Would be very cost prohibitive, but anything can be done. It is absolutely not needed.

OP, with enough money anything is possible. But, I don't think it's necessary to have the dry sump for the installation of a SC. The dry sump is basically set up to keep oil in the engine when you're on the track.

1LT has nothing to do w/ dry sump or not. It's the base trim and option level. You can get a 1LT Z51 and GS w/ dry sump.
To the OP, it would be be ridiculously expensive to convert and more cost effective to trade as cost ineffective as that is too. And yes, you can supercharge w/o dry sump, as long as you're not planning to do a lot of track time/high-G corner carving, and if powertrain warranty is of no concern to you.

I didn't SC my car, and it's not a 1LT. I was simply trying to explain to someone else that trim level (1/2/3LT) has nothing to do with whether the car has the dry sump engine or not. Dry sump is part of the Z51 package on Stingray, which can be had on any trim level. GS and Z06 all have dry sump engines.
