Your girl was a pretty good sport.
Mine would've demanded car be immediately stopped to let her out.
Happened once many years ago, I 'won' when after hoofing 40-50' she decided she really didn't want to walk.
But since then she simply doesn't ride in our Corvette a'tall in 35 years & 3 Corvettes unless she must -- like this coming Monday.
One thing, though.
Coming up a hill hell bent for election to a fading RH curve?
Iron stones, there.
Must've been very familiar w/ area, confident it'd be clear.
Hate to ever see how C7 brakes work in an emergency, or not, 'live'.
Looked like a fun time, very pretty car & gal.

Seems like she has a pretty good attitude and is fairly knowledgeable. My wife is not afraid of speed. I told her our VSport would do 0-60 in 4.4. One day she came home and said, "OK. You were right." She used to have a turbo Saab and took that to 140 on a back road. Her comment: "She (the car) was just settling in."

My bride enjoys speed up to the point when her two favorite words just fall out....."Slow Down". That's varies somewhere over 100 mph.

That's in the old ones, I'm looking forward to her riding in the GS. With it being much more refined, I hoping she will relax a little and enjoy it.

Of course now I'm more cautious as to where I "let 'er rip". That must come with maturity.

My wife has been really tolerant of my WOT drives even though I know it does stress her out. During our upcoming roadtrip I going to have her take an Ativan

My wife has a death grip on the door handle when I start driving spirited.

My wife wants a warning when I’m gonna get on it, but thats not always possible!
I’m trying to get her used to fact that wherever there’s an entrance ramp to the highway-and there’s no traffic in front of us-hard acceleration will be the norm.
Otherwise, I tend to drive more conservative due to “precious cargo”...
I gotta add this:
Either we are getting older quicker than I thought, or the Vette is intimidating to passengers- I’m hoping its more of the latter.

^^^ I'm with ya, a wide open on ramp is just begging for a rip through the gears. My wife's a good sport about it most times. I've told her I won't speed by much but I want to get to speed real quick.

I like to sit in the passenger seat and watch my wife drive my C7. She's got a heavy foot.

My wife trusts me; she knows I would never do anything to hurt or endanger her.
When I decide to 'get on it' unannounced, I usually look over to giddy smiles
Monthly payment on my 'Vette: $691/mo. Look on her face: Priceless

I can't drive my Corvette like I drive it when I'm along in the car with other people. Seriously. They'd soil their shorts. The car is too fast. And I'm not exactly the most outer edge of the envelope driver. But I can throw a car into a corner @ +1g and I don't think most people are prepared for that. I enjoy driving my car, I don't want to scare anybody.

I took my 80 year old father out in the C7 today for the first time, and he grabbed both of the passenger grips and thought were going to launch off into the corn field next to us. I think he was "apprehensively pleased". LOL.

My wife used to be able tolerate my spirited driving. Not any more. Often told to slow down now. What can I do but slow down? It’s my wife for cryin’ out loud!

I'll admit I a bit of a nervous Nelly when in the passenger seat.
Only two other people beside myself have driven it with me in passenger seat. My daughter who is just fine; conservative even. Then there is Mr.owc6. He rarely drives the C7, but when he does, he does so aggressively. Makes me nervous because he has literally 5% of the time behind the wheel on this car as I do, and he never seems to take the summer tires into consideration. Both of the C6s were/are the same; I have the majority of time behind the wheel.
I can hammer on it and know the car is just fine. I actually drive it more aggressively than he does. Maybe, it's a control issue?

I hit it hard, once, with my wife in the car. After I let off, and the noise stopped she just like at me and told me to never, ever do that again with her in the car. Message received.
