Just think about it for a minute .... it could happen.
Not having a front plate could save lives.
Instead of being sucked into the front grill, a road rock might ricochet off the front license plate and be thrown over the car hitting a trailing vehicle's windshield causing the driver to swerve and roll into a ditch killing 4 children and a small dog.

Think about it...it COULD happen.

I totally agree. I was wondering if anyone has tried to paint the aero front plate bracket carbon flash metallic to match the grill and other CFM components?
Do you need Adhesion promoter, Primer, CFM base coat and then K2 Clear coat? Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks.

Yes I did. I did use adhesion promoter, primer, CFM base and then clear coat. I used Automotivetouchup basecoat 501Q. I did front and back. Just scuff up and paint. Looks great. Been three and half year holding great, no chips. I have posted pics.

Also, if you see the holes in the plate, that allows me to unscrew the bracket without disassembling everything. Hope this helps.

Looks great! Is that the new GM X-Ray Clear coat on the front plate bracket? You can hardly see it for cryin' out loud. I gotta me some of that.

I ran without a front plate for 2 years , got pulled over in my small town and was told to install it or get ticketed next time she saw me, so I installed it with the factory plate holder that came with car.
