Who daily drives their Vette?
Recently, I traded in my '01 C5 convertible and picked up a '16 Z51 coupe. I bought my '01 in 2010 and it was my daily driver. For about 4 years, my commute was only about 15 miles round trip, but now it's around 75. My '01 had about 147k on it and drove great. I had been fixing various leaks on it for the past couple of years and was getting a bit tired of it. I'd fix one and then something else would sprout a leak.
My '16 had about 17k on it when I bought it. A bit more than I was hoping, but I really liked the look of the car. I would have liked to get a Grand Sport, but the availability of all season tires and cost when they do come out, made me stick with the narrow body car.
I daily drive my car unless there is snow on the pavement or forecast of any. I estimate I put about 15k/year commuting.
When I was buying the car, I had a couple different guys from the dealership talk about how they seldom hear of anyone daily driving their Corvettes. I think these are great daily drivers. Where else can you get 29mpg hwy and power to pass whenever you want in one vehicle?
Who all daily drives their Corvette and how many miles per year do put on it?

78 miles round trip. Had my Z51 since 2015 when it was brand new. It now has 34k miles and I just replaced the tires at 28k miles.

Daily driving since I took delivery in September 2016. Over 26k miles. OEM tires from Mid April to Halloween then it’s AS3+. I drive all year round. Had to park it maybe a half dozen days because of weather in NJ. Coming up on oil change #4 next month and probably new brake pads. A great daily driver! No issues here.
Did about 50 miles round trip to NYC every day until last October. Now commute about 20 miles round trip Monday thru Friday.

I daily mine. Roughly 25 miles round trip, all city. I'll put it away when we get to the snow and ice part of the year, but I bought it with the intention of driving it as much as possible. So far it's been great.

Have had mine 2 years and 6 months. Just drive it for fun every day since I retired. 65,000 miles on her. What a life! If you notice my location I don't have to worry about nasty weather. Not that I'm afraid to get it wet, it just isn't fun driving around in the rain. Hopefully I'll have this one worn out pretty soon and can get a better one. Like a Z06, ZR1, or one of those mid engine jobs. Not there is anything wrong with my Stingray. It's just this is my first Corvette and wasn't absolutely sure what would fit me the best. I discovered I dig horsepower as my son has a Z06 he leaves with me. I'm trying to put as many miles on his as I can. I'll be driving it up to Prescott tomorrow.

I’m making the same payment whether the car is sitting in the garage or on the road. I just got it 2 weeks ago and I have 680 miles on it now. I’ll put at least 20k miles a year.
I live in West Texas, so it may spend a total of 5-10 days a year “put away”.
I bought it with the sole intention of driving it every day.

I drive mine daily as long as it's not raining or below 50ish.

I have a 2015 Stingray purchased in April 2015 and drive it every day 44 miles round trip. I just turned 60K and it has been great! I previously had a 2011 Grand Sport and got tired of getting new tires every year as all seasons never became available. After 15K on the OEM tires, I went with Michelin AS tires and just passed inspection with over 45K on the tires. I drive it every day as long as the snow is less than 3". I don't think I would be able go get around in the snow if I had the automatic though. With the stick, it really isn't that bad in the snow.

I drive mine every day I go to the office as well. 25 miles round trip. I only go to the office three days a week though. Sits at home the other four days since I use one of my family vehicles for errands and the hardware store.
Oh and I do take my kids to hockey practice as well in the evenings. The criteria for the car was that hockey bag and stick needed to fit in the car for hockey. Travel hockey, kids have the coolest ride when arriving at the rink. My dad took me around in a Buick.

About 22 mile round-trip. Rain or shine, even once or twice in the snow.

Daily driver here until the snow (and salt) flies. 48 miles round trip. Makes the commute way more fun!
