Show us your COOL Garage Gadgets that help in maintaining and enjoying your C7! Could be anything from something as simple as below to complex equipment.

Here's one that takes the "tennis ball > stop" gadget to a higher level!
Instead of the ball just hanging there all the time; it's down as needed when the garage door is up and retracts out of the way when the door is down.
Available from Amazon for under $8.00.

Great looking Vette, Kevin......... but come on.... TENNIS ***** still, even Hi tech ones ??? ( Just kidding )......

10 years ago ( or more) I went to Laser Pointing devices for both cars.

Puts a small red dot on a spot on the dashboard so you know how far to pull into the garage. The laser pointer is adjustable so you pick a spot where you want it to be, and adjust the tip of the pointer.

I've had my 2 laser pointers for over 10 years...... no more tennis ***** !

I think I paid about $19 each for them at PepBoys. Now, they are on Amazon for $12

Garage gator. It’s a lift that supports 120lbs or so. Can work for bicycles too. I have street tires and racing tires. Change them out before I go to an event.

so nice! Hey, maybe you can help me out with something. I have rubbed on the door jambs with the side mirrors slightly on occasion, no matter how well I think I am lined up entering the garage. Do you think a laser could be mounted close to the entrance somewhere to help me line up better? It would have to be away from the raised garage door which would block the laser. I was thinking of getting the double laser unit....maybe that would offer more choices for locating it.

Bought my laser positing devices ~15 years ago. Amazingly they still work fine!

No doubt that's cool, however if I can solve a problem without using electricity that probably the route I will take, just 'old school' I guess.

GM diagnostic tool
GM diagnostic and programming software
GM programming support tool (fancy battery charger)
GM service information
Big *** toolbox and a complete lack of intimidation when it comes to working on a car

I have a very tiny list of reasons to ever visit a dealer or let anyone else work on my car.

But I still need a set of those Quick Jacks, and the laser pointer thing

I like the laser idea, but I back in every time.

I have a 2x4 screwed to the floor where I want the back tire to stop. That leaves enough room to walk behind the car in between it and the Harley parked behind it. It also leaves room to walk between the car and the Harley parked on the passenger side of the car. Then I wheel the other bike in front of the car. Its a tight fit.

- The Quick Jack is the best thing to have unless you have room for a 4 post lift! I cannot believe I lived without one for all these years.

I wish I had a bigger garage that could support a 4 post lift and had air conditioning. I cannot deal with the Florida Inferno anymore.

Here are two:

Made this while I waited for delivery of my September 2013 built C7 since there were no mirror to mirror tip measurements only that they were wider than my C6. Even with my 8 foot wide door molding still have room. However if passenger side mirror would be closer to 2 inches of the wood molding, alarm goes off! Cost, <$20.

With a White Car, am cleaning the rear often. This shelf mounted between garage doors holds waterless spray, Tar & Bug remover, mini California Duster and microfiber towels. Close for cleaning the outer NPP tips as well.

Great idea. I need to do something to store the Cup tires/ wheels.

Since the wife got an SUV don't need anymore but stored this small trailer above the Vette!

Used double pulley sheaves that cut lift load by 4 fold. Only lifting one side at a time so total weight raised was 1/8 of trailer weight. Just be sure the screw in hooks holding the upper pulley pair are into the main beams!

Was above my C6 and initially had some intrepidation!

Made wood sides that were put on when used.

I use the tennis ball and 2x4 wood as a backup to not pull up to close to wall. I also have pit in my shop my 17 GS lives over and a mirror to make sure I don't run off into it. Great ideas guys.
