What are your post-purchase regrets?

The misconception is they are not AC ventilated, just a fan that circulates the cabin air into the seats. One trick is to set the AC vent to the floor so the seats fans can pick up the cooler air. Yes, it is better than nothing but not worth $4500 for the 2LT package to get it.

I too bought a '14 (2LT) Z51 and the ONLY POSSIBLE regret I MIGHT have is not getting magnetic ride. But, since I have no problem with the non-mag ride, and it would only be a regret for resale, it doesn't matter because I'm never going to sell the car! I love it!

2008 Z51: Not getting a Grand Sport
2016 Z51: Not getting a Grand Sport
2017 Grand Sport: Nothing really.
I thought I'd regret not getting competition seats. They aren't much better than the GT seats on the track so I don't regret that. I wouldn't call it a regret, but I might spring for PDR/Nav if I had to do it again.

I believe when I counted them up there were something like 200 options as it stands. Think about the logistical nightmare if you could order seat fans separately. Assuming other options separated out the same way you would increase the complexity of assembling a car exponentially. Right now they have three packages in their 1LT-2LT-3LT combinations. They only have to build three and they can be pre-built. Choose one and done. If they provided the ability to choose options down to the fan level they'd have to increase the price considerably. If you want a custom-built car, well, you can get that with a Bugatti and wait a couple of years for it to be built.

Not ordering the Grand Sport Heritage Package. I like the painted spoiler. I asked several times about the package, but nobody at the dealer told me with AW the spoiler would be painted.

The only regret I have is that I did not get one sooner. It’s a blast to drive and I love looking at it.

Knew exactly what I was getting when I bought it. Satisfied here.
I knew some of the built in regrets of the mine field and nightmares I'd of had if I hadn't bought new in-State (locally.)

Wish I would have waited 1 more week to get a 2016 instead of 2015. Front camera would be handy to have.

16 Coupe, 2LT, Z51, AT, Laguna Blue. No regrets on my part, got what I wanted based on what was being made. Regret GM cancelling Laguna Blue just before the GS was introduced. Had planned on getting a 17 GS in Laguna Blue with the options I got on the 16 Z51.

I think the only things I would have gotten in hindsight are the transparent roof (dual roof package) and a black stinger on the hood. Of course I could still get both

ALL, biggies to heed/consider for newbies shopping for their C7, IMO. ^^^
I'm not reading where anyone regrets;
1) stick M7,
2) convertible,
3) their 2LT/3LTs.

Not one regret or problem with my 2017 AW M7 2LT ordered with exactly what I wanted from Kerbeck (great easy transaction with nice discount), black wheels, red calipers, transparent roof, PDR, NPP and NCM delivery.
In fact, have to add one unexpected positive surprise, the red rev-match paddles were a really nice match to the red seats when I was only expecting black paddles. Will keep this the rest of my life.
