What are your post-purchase regrets?

no regrets whatsoever , couple yrs ago I was broke with no cash, no credit, no bank
I couldn't fathom the thought of a used C7 stingray let alone a brand new 2018 Grand Sport. I also bought my mother a brand new car last year and have a brand new 2018 F150 as well as got my younger brother one also . Aside from having 3 car notes and paying insurance on all 3 of them that is probably the only reason why I didnt opt for the Z06.
That said by 2020 I should be in a Z06 , babysteps . this is my first actual sports car next to AMG 63 mercedes . For what I'm paying I cannot complain just enjoying it for now .

I believe when I counted them up there were something like 200 options as it stands. Think about the logistical nightmare if you could order seat fans separately. Assuming other options separated out the same way you would increase the complexity of assembling a car exponentially. Right now they have three packages in their 1LT-2LT-3LT combinations. They only have to build three and they can be pre-built. Choose one and done. If they provided the ability to choose options down to the fan level they'd have to increase the price considerably. If you want a custom-built car, well, you can get that with a Bugatti and wait a couple of years for it to be built.
Of course GM won't go back to selling individual options because it's more efficient to sell packages and especially much more profitable.

Not a single regret. This is my 5th Corvette and something like my 20th car over-all and I have to say, this is the first car that I have absolutely no desire to modify. After all these years I have found myself a car that is perfect (for me). I am going to enjoy the heck out of this one for years and years.

First of all mine has been terrific! But I do regret not getting a Z06. My son has one he leaves with me here in AZ. He lives in Spain and comes over quite a bit to drive it. I drive it quite a bit and .....boy can I tell the difference in torque and power!!!
If I would have know that I would have bought one myself instead of my Stingray, but I couldn't find any place that would let me test drive one.
And on the heated and cooled seats that he has, I'll give them 4 thumbs down. Don't even know they are on, especially the ventilated (cool) gimmick.
The Z06 is a stick, so that is fun too.
But like I said, mine has been a hoot and par excellence reliable.

2014 Z51 2LT M7, only consideration...not regret, would be to get a 2016 with AA built in. But I also really wanted and use HD radio, so there's a catch 22.
No Z06 for me, would never use that power on the street. Maybe a GS, really just wish I had AA.

The ventilated seats are a Godsend. If you cannot feel the air circulation/temperature difference, then your cabin ambient temperature, and or your body temperature is a non-factor at the time you say they are on, but you cannot feel them.
The ventilated seats are a home run, when you figure out what they do, and when they do their thing.

Purchased my 2016 2LT M7 April of 2016, 18,000 miles later, not a single regret. Wake up every day wanting to drive her. Took a 3,000 mile road trip with my wife to the Corvette Museum from Miami, and ran her hard in the mountains, "NO REGERTS"

200 options, come on? There's like 25 options between the 1,2 and 3LT packages then the other options (wheels, stripes, caliper colors etc) you currently choose at order. You're making it MUCH MORE complicated than it is.
Of course GM won't go back to selling individual options because it's more efficient to sell packages and especially much more profitable.

I should have said 200 combinations, which you can easily see if you look at the built-cars specs as presented by the Bash. Go to the build site itself and you'll see over 100 check marks for options you can chose. Given the number of choices you have, if you choose your own options, you very likely have a unique car as confirmed by the RPO codes, of which there are 200. Got that? There are 200 RPO codes.
And thank you for agreeing with my major point (which you may have overlooked), which is that it is more efficient and much less complex for GM to sell packages. As for GM making a profit? That's not a dirty word. It's okay to make a profit. It's okay to find efficient ways to build cars. These are GOOD things.

No regrets here. bought used good price and had everything I wanted except the Z51 package, but don't track the car so from friends I have talked to its not that big of a deal to not have it.
2016 NRB 2LT, carbon fiber roof, PDR, Black wheels, a couple of minor dealer installed options that were not a factor.
got it 6 grand below book value according to NADA and my bank.

Being allowed to choose what you want among 25 or so options (as opposed to them being dumped on you via choice of just 3 packages) is a long way from building a custom car.
