I just noticed after washing mine this past weekend that my Z51 decals were lifting a little. Have you had that problem?

They are trying to come off because they know they don't belong there. Decals do not belong on a $60K+ sports car. Take 'em off...they don't look all that great anyway because they are so small. Now if there was more space on those side vents like there is for the GS and the Z06, it'd be a different story.

Just my opinion!

Full disclosure: I actually bought a set of those Z51 stickers thinking I might put them on. But...when they arrived, I changed my mind and told myself the same thing I told you above.

If I had purchased a used C7 and it came with chrome badges, my plan all along was to remove the Stingray emblems from the side and then buy carbon flash badges for the front and rear of the car. But when the plan changed and I factory ordered my 2018, and went for the carbon flash badge package, I felt it was best to leave everything as it came. But I do agree that it gives the car a nice clean look without the side emblems. I would never consider removing the Corvette emblem on the back though.

Ummmmmm. Sure looks like a Grand Sport to me.

I find it amusing that someone would go and remove the stingray badge and then add z51 stickers on their car. To each their own I suppose

More like a Z06, even though it's a Stingray, thanks to the WB, like I mentioned.

Grand Sport fender vents are different, though the fenders are the same:

Although, I went with carbon fiber fender extensions instead of the flat ABS ones:

If there was a good place to put the Stingray badge I would, but I'm not sure there is. Any ideas?

Everyone has an opinion and I guess what was discussed in another thread is so very true

I still have my badges but it appears that they failed to put the Z51 stickers on mine.

I wasn't sure before, but now after seeing so many pics of cars without the stingrays I'm thinking that I'm going to pull mine off.

Haha... I had a similar reaction this thread and all the pics!

So yesterday -- I pulled off the side fish and also removed the "CORVETTE" lettering on the rear bumper. Might not be to everyone's taste, but I like it better this way.

Ha! To remove the fish, what did you use?
