Default Is my side skirt fixable or needs replacement. Pix? Cost?

I have had my 2018 z06 for 4 months ago and put around 1600 miles on it. Front end is immaculate since I always use the front parking cameras. Today I noticed the very end of the passenger side skirt damaged all the way in the very end. Its hard to notice until you are close to it and the crazy thing is I don't even know when it happened. Bottom line is can it be fixed or will it need to be replaced and if so what might be the cost? Also this is my only vehicle and I drive it on all kinds of roads so I don't know if it worth fixing now or letting it all get banged up and then buying a different aero package? How much would it be to get it replaced or fixed (if that's even possible)?

Def fixable - fiberglass work will be needed and a bit of bondo - repaint base coat clear coat - will be your cheapest way out

Of course it has to be removed to do it - you could uninstall it and drop it off at a good body shop and still drive you car

I could fix it easy but I am in Mass

That would be less expensive than buying a non oem one that looks just like it and popping it on?

Should be around 200$ to 250$ for a nice job

These 3/4 skirts are hard to find and you would have to buy in pairs most likely

Clean off the loose bits. Could hot glue a small piece aluminum underneath. Touch up with a Sharpie pen, drive and enjoy.

As suggested above you could always fix it yourself on the cheap, and look out for a used take-off set. They show up in the parts section fairly regular and go about $350-400 for a set.

sent you a message but just found your thread

Jason has these full length, I bought a pair (not Z06 but look the same) and had them painted and installed for 220 bucks at a local body shop... I saw your other thread and just thought I would show you some pics

I went on their website. Is there a direct number to call Jason at?

Fixable --- not a big deal --- cost is maybe $300 at the top end.

Visible weave carbon fiber would be a different story ...

Of course it's fixable, however I'd probably just "replace it" myself to avoid the hassle of dealing with a body shop and repairs. Probably be about twice as much to replace as to repair.
It's looks like there's a little paint damage to the rocker in the first photo or is that just the photo?

There is only damage to the skirt/running board. No damage to the body of the car. I called the Chevy dealer and they will sell me a new factory painted skirt for $480 and charge $140 to install it. Didnt get a repair estimate yet. If its too close then ill just pay extra and buy the new one and had it installed.

So $620 to replace, most likely $300>$400 for body shop to remove/repair/paint/re-install as I doubt they will attempt a repair with the skirt on the C7.

Easy choice for me, replace with new.

No plus your time not worth it then it will not look as good.
The paint is 91.00 per pint and then you need more things. IMO Look in the forum ads. I bought a set like new for 250.00 of the 3/4 skirts like you have. They pop on in minutes!

Turns out its cheaper to get it replaced. $555 including tax and installation for a factory painted OEM carbon flash side skirt at my local chevy dealer so I'm just gonna do that. Not worth dealing with the headache of getting it removed, repainted etc. This way they pop this one off and put the other one on.
