It was a Base (non Z51) with NPP. No longer have. Now have a Base 19 A8 NPP.

Most of the base C-7 Corvettes I have seen around here are doing good to hit a 12.50. A base Corvette breaking in the 11''s bone stock is really doing good.

May run Fontana 1/4 this Saturday morning the 16th for street legal. Ron last week at Irwindale first run of the evening busted the rear Differential and put pieces and oil mess.

Everyone thinks an auto car makes you the same as everyone else. Couldn't be further from truth.
I've run many factory bone stock GM high po cars and practice always beat factory times by a wide margin.. huge in fact. And ALWAYS dealt with the "no way it's stock" nonsense. Was even in a super Chevy magazine with my trailblazer ss 2wd for what it could do back in the day. Chose me to run a nitro dr test because they knew I KNEW how to get the best out of my truck and those tires vs others.
OP nice runs. They dont know "our" pain lol.
Ps. Truth be told? Most fun I ever had at the strip was when my cars trucks were bone stock and surprising the hell out of people with et's I could put down with practice..

That Demon is a 840 hp turd. Those trap speeds and et's are terrible. Guys with half that power run those speeds and et's at the 1/8 in immokalee fl. Was he half throttling it, and if so, why?

I leave my cars stock (1) because it is more impressive to run great times stock. (2) do not want to void the warranty (3) Here in Socialist Communist California we are limited in what we can do. I also know what works real world and believe in quality runs not quantity of runs.

Ron Silva told me last week that he is now has the quickest Totally stock Demon time to date, I believe he said 9.71 in the 1/4 when he was in Texas recently.

Makes me feel old. Years ago there were a lot of local 1/8 mile drag strips. Oswego Drag Strip in my area was 1/8 mile. Up until a few years ago, I hadn't paid attention to drag racing for a number of years and was amazed seeing that Top Fuel was under 4 secs until I learned the strips were now actually 1000' rather than a full 1/4 mile as well.

I think Top and Funny are only able to run 1000' now.

Same guy that's in the 8.xx in the 1/8th? Am i missing something? 9.71 in the 1/4 should put him in the low 6's in the 1/8th

He is getting it down, over 500 runs and a little 4K miles.

Can you run some quarter mile time slips instead of the eighth of a mile ones?
