Hey Everyone
I just want to introduce myself as I just placed an order on a 2019 Corvette Stingray Z51. My name is Andy and I'm from Toronto Ontario Canada. This is my 1st Corvette I purchased. My previous car was a 2014 Camaro ZL1. I felt it was time to upgrade to a Vette. I'm looking forward to being behind the wheel in a few weeks and to see what the car can do. I've heard alot of good things about the Z51. Has anyone taken their Z51 to the track and were there any issues? I'm thinking of taking the car to the track after I brake in the engine.

Welcome aboard! Take advantage of the Corvette Owners School (COS) at Spring Mountain, you’ll learn all about your car and you in it...Two days on the track with professional instruction will answer just about any question you may have.

Good luck!

Welcome to the Forum

I owned a '14 with Z51 but never took it to the track so I cannot help you with that question. But there are others that have and hopefully they provide their input.

Welcome to the forum Andy.

Great choice. Love my Z51. But I haven't tracked it.

Don't underestimate Ron Fellow's Corvette School...it's a hoot, and everybody learns a few things, regardless of experience.

Meanwhile, at home there are lots of great and nearby places to run the Vette, as you probably already know.
Including the Forks of the Credit.

Hope to see ya out there... and to give the Corvette wave!

I have a 2020 with 12,000 miles. Got the CEL, dealer replaced the transmission this month. Was noted on the paperwork that it was serviced with 12 quarts.
