Twilight Edition Coupe
Been pondering trading my '08 coupe for a C7 and looking at used ones in my area. Anyway I came across a left over (new) 2017 White 3LT Z51 coupe with that Twilight package. White body with the red & blue center stripes and those nice Motorsports wheels. Never been a big fan of blue interiors but love those wheels. I've done some searches but can't find much information on that package in fact wasn't even aware they made them until just recently. With those options is that a pretty rare car?

The Twilight Blue Design package had a limited run in 2017. It was only available on the 3LT trim level of the Stingray, Grand port, and Z06. There were only 33 Stingray Coupes, and 29 Stingray Convertibles built in 2017 with the blue. So, it's a fairly rare bird. Scroll down the page in the link, and it will help you a bit. In my opinion it makes for a beautiful car.

BTW, we've been through Mitchell. We had a good time at a downtown festival that day, and even saw the "Worlds Largest Bird Feeder" while we were there.

There's a lot to be said about the desirability of rare Corvettes and rare options/features.
But then I sometimes wonder if some are rare just because no one wanted them enough to order, which is not a good thing.

Rare? Yes. Desirable?
Specialty/Collector Editions, do not have a widespread following of avid buyers. However, you might think it's the cat's meow. YMMV.

a pretty rare c7 is the 2016 c7r package. you "probably" won't find any of those on a dealer's lot at 20k off msrp 2 years after production. The key words to collectibility here are new 2017, still on a dealer's lot, heavily discounted.

There were 33 AW Twilight Blue Stingrays,45 GS, 38 Z06
I can't find break down of coupes /convertibles. If you buy, call or email Corvette Museum Archives and give them your VIN and they can give you breakdown with your options on your car. I did it with mine! I like that color combo! That package was only available with only 5 exterior colors AW ,Sterling Blue , Blade Silver, Watkins Gray, Admiral Blue. Below is chart I received from Museum when doing search for info on my 17 GS. Good luck on your decision.

It didn't sell because the narrow stripes down the center of the hood just didn't work. Those wheels are available on all base models now.

I have a 16 TBDE vert. The stripe was an option and not included in the package. I believe that there were 340+-TBDE's built with 152 of those verts in 2016, FWIW. Mine is stripeless...that stripe is funky and way out of place.

Last blue interior Corvette that I remember was in another special edition very rare 2013 427 C6.
If l liked the blue interior, and I do, I would be all over that car and would buy it.

My wife has a 2016 Z06 Vert with that interior and the blue top. We both love the color combination.

Walt. If it were me the dealer would have to remove that little stripe before I took it home. In my feeble mind it just looks so out of place.

I think the Twilight Blue interior would have been a great interior match for the newish Ceramic Matrix Gray exterior since it has a blue-ish tint.

I agree as well, looks as though they were trying too hard to get a different look, just for the sake of being different. I feel that's often the problem with special or limited additions.

Of all the stripe packages available on the C7, the Twilight one is not a favorite of mine.

...a-n-d it's only a Nine Hundred and Fifty DOLLAR option for that silly looking red white and blue stripe with an arrow at each end.
Sheeesh! That's a bunch of money for a stripe that looks like the make ready guy at the dealership got let loose with the left over pin strip tape collection from the 1980's.

I do like the blue interior, it's different, would love to see it in a blue car. Nice wheels also. Pricey option though at $3,500 for simply another color interior.
But a white car with a skinny red white and blue pinstripe going down the full lenght of the center of the car did not grab me at all...
Looks to be a very nice deal though for the right person at Twenty Grand off MSRP.

I'm glad we're still able to disagree, agreeably. I actually like the combo of the narrow stripes and blue interior. I think the stripes are "subtle" which some people might like, plus, it's the "flag colors." The blue interior is also subdued or somewhat subtle.
There was one other "blue" model---can't recall which year or name---that was a screaming, very bright blue. I really liked that one! I probably wouldn't buy it, but looking at it up close as a "sold" car, I could easily understand someone buying that one, sitting in it and driving it around. To me, it was great!
