Very nice color, swap new rims and body kit then you are all set.

Third is easy. Pop in neutral and push straight up. 5th can be a PIA sometimes with the 7th gear and I've had mine for three years. Thankfully it's not used much on track anyways.

Nice! Everyone is different as are our cars. I understand your chrome wheel desire. I too switched from black to chrome with my latest Corvette. Enjoy!

I love the full Kalahari interior.
It make the inside look like a full custom interior.

Congrats on the your new Vette.

Default rims

dump the black rims... chrome much better. My Laguna Blue 2014 convertible M7 Z51 3LT came with black rims.... changed that the first week I had her! I also swapped stock shifter for MGW.... much better! I didn't think my 2004 Comm Ed convertible could be improved on but I was WRONG! Love this C7

Coming from a C5 Vert (and a few C4's) this car is just truly amazing. The way it drives, the way it feels, the way it handles is pure heaven.

For some reason, I sometimes find myself "searching" for 3rd and 5th...maybe just a learning curve or Im just over excited.

My first upgrade will be Chrome Rims...black rims are nice, but Im 48 years old and Im part of a generation where rims are either silver or chrome. Im also thinking a very subtle CF side skirt too.

Now Im off to give her a nice (waterless) wash, then M205 polish (body and rims), then some carnauba wax so she looks oh so pretty.

3rd (and 4th) shouldn't be that much of a big deal because it's the native gear which you can select just by pushing up once the shift **** defaults itself. Though I will admit, the 5th and 6th gear will take a bit of getting used to. It's like you have to edge it to the right just a bit while going up or down. 7th gear is far enough to where you won't (usually) mistakenly hit it since it's further spread out than the first six.

Not to worry. You should have plenty of practice in the meantime. Congratulations on your purchase
