I flash my high beams. Too hot to roll the window down. I Have only seen 2 C7 within 20 miles of my house in the past year. My car is a daily driver, 26-28,000 miles a year.

save the wave
We live in East Tennessee and I would say if they see you I get 90 plus percent waves and some times a flash of the lights

It gets old riding a motorcycle too like some kind of exclusive two wheeled fraternity; and the dichotomy between air cooled vs. liquid cooled HDs, HDs vs. non-HDs, etc.
Edit: I noticed that the Jeep waves are gaining popularity too.

Weird, they pretty much all wave back here 'round Seattle. Except for the red Enzo (I know it's you, Greg) that I always accidentally wave at from too far away (I see the Enzo about as often as a Torch Red Z). Not many Zs here.
Sometimes Vettes wave even back when I forget that I'm driving something else!
Doesn't sound like you're waiting for them to initiate either, which is weird. I'm usually pretty confident in the wave return!
