Default New wheels for my Grand Sport

I have a 2019 Grand Sport which came with black wheels. As an older driver who always relates to chrome I wonder if those earlier ZR1 chrome wheels would fit my new car. They have an intricate spoke pattern unlike the straight or twin spoke ones. Why they discontinued such beautiful wheels i have no idea. Where could I get me a set??

I’m with you on the chrome wheels. Are you talking about the C6 or the C4 ZR1?

Have you considered the wheels off of the C7 ZR1? I’m quite a fan of them.

I'd look at C7 Z06 wheels. Direct bolt on, same wheel size, and available at many sites. They look just as good as the C6 ZR1 wheels.

Call Bob's House of Wheels. He's in south Florida and a vendor here.

It looks like the Z06 C7 chrome wheels will do.Single spokes becoming doubles at contact with the rim. Trying to find a dealer in Florida.

Talk to Bob"s House of Wheels. The C6 ZR! wheels are very nice but you need to make sure the offset is the same as the C7 Z06 wheels. Here is a picture of my Z06 OEM Chrome wheels that I bought from Bob, on my 2017 Collectors Edition Grand Sport. I too am an older driver as well, had corvettes since 1977 and just dislike black wheels. My kids are clearly on the other side and thought the black wheels look better, but thats the nice thing about choice. The C7 Z06 wheels are a direct fit, even if you have the Z07 option like I have. The C6 ZR1 OEM wheels are the same size as the C7 Z06 wheels, the only difference could be the offset. Since carbon ceramic brakes were standard on the C6 ZR1, I would bet my life they would ft. Just call Bob at House of Wheels.
Good luck and post picture if you decide to go the C6 route.

I also bought for my 2008 Z06 a set of ZR1 wheels from him as well, A great vendor and great price.

WHY does not one person ever consider the BLACK CHROME C7Z06 wheel that Factory Reproduction Brand imports
from China...
Are you "experts" implying/stating that every wheel Bob sells is a GM OEM wheel that he sources from somewhere ???
Hmmm!!!!!!

Almost out of my 70's I am glad to hear that chrome still rules with mature drivers. I have talked to Bob and when I travel down to Cape Coral from my Canadian summer home I plan to order the GM original C7 Z06 wheels. Among young drivers there should be a demand for my gloss blacks. They are just too "bad ***".

The rear C6 ZR1 wheels are the same dimensions (diam, width, offset) as the C7 Z06 -- 20x12 +59

The front C6 ZR1 wheels are the same diam and width as the C7 Z06 - 19x10, but the *offset* is slightly different. +40 for the C6 ZR1 vs. +43 for the C7 Z06.

That means that a front C6 ZR1 wheel/tire mounted on your C7 will be pushed out a whopping 3mm more outboard than a C7 Z06 wheel tire. 3mm is the thickness of two pennies laid flat on top of each other -- I would think that small of a difference would be fine.

Could you please provide a direct link to the wheel pictured? I really like that but can't seem to find the exact match.

That's a nice wheel, but I do not believe that wheel design ever came on a C7Z06 from the factory...

You don't really have to be much of an "expert" to know what is reproduction vs OEM. The C6 ZR1 wheels were cast with a GM part number and made in Italy. It is clearly defined on the inner back of the wheel. The C7 Z06 wheels are marked the same with the respective GM part number. I can't remember but believe they were made in Mexico. Its been a while since I had had them installed. I remember talking with Bob at Bob's House of Wheels when I ordered my C6ZR1 wheels and he bought up a lot of the OEM cores and them plated them based on customer demand. That is why you get a great deal from him, vs the dealer or GM parts. He also sells reproduction wheels as well. Your choice.

Your Black Chrome C7 Z06 wheels that you posted are not Reproduction OEM wheels. Very nice, but I have never seen that wheel on any C7Z06
