Any young C7 owners?!

I purchased my first new Corvette at 17, was just $7600 back then. Paid cash from years of savings cutting grass, delivering papers, repairing small engines and working at a grocery store. Drove it everywhere and did't care what people thought.
I have had at lease one in the garage ever since.

I wouldn't let it bother you, they might even respect you for having to ***** to buy one. Plenty of people out there who have wanted a Corvette their entire life, however have never quite been able to step up because it's not viewed as practical enough.

I would mind hanging with him at a meet, 67 but sounds 30. I just didn’t like the fact I had nothing generationally in common with the vette owners at the meet I went to, literally every conversation was out of my era so it was awkward lol! I don’t like getting judged because I talk about spanking the occasional mopar etc
FWIW, I didn't live with my parents as many of the young here do. I'd been out of college several years living on my own when I paid cash for my C3.
My parents did pay for all my private high schools and for private Military Academy college education, so I had an advantage most never get. My brothers and I were expected to achieve in life. Something else that doesn't happen much these days.

Maybe me! I'm 22 and trying to decide what my first car should be. Between the Corvette and Z4 right now. If I could afford a Corvette new, it would be that hands down, but I don't want to wait to save esp because it'll probably be like 65k with everything I want.

Bought my C7 2 years ago when I was 28 and I've DD'ed for 16k miles and tracked it a few times. When my dad rides with me everyone assumes it's his car.... nope. The catch is that my mom won't let him get one.

I need a car now, so I'd rather not continue saving. Also, if I get a cheap car, I'd rather just put that money to a good car. Just got my first job and I got really lucky with my salary. I want to take advantage :p

I'm a long way from young, 55 to be exact. I was 24 when I bought my first Corvette. I have owned at least one ever since.
When I was 13 or 14 I kept telling my dad I would own a Corvette before I was 25, I didn't want to be to old to enjoy.
Congratulations and enjoy.

I bought my first Vette a 99 c5 coupe at 18 east old, second Vette a 2006 c6 coupe at 23 years old, and my c7 stingray at 30. My son was born shortly after my c7 purchase so I’m now in a 2016 Charger Hellcat. With the c7 being a more modern car with a lot more tech than previous years you’ll be a seeing a lot more owners in the younger age bracket especially as they get even more affordable on the used market.

I'm 34... don't think I qualify as that young though. Young compared to some of my colleagues but not young compared to the guys in the gym I try to keep up with.

Come out to Cars and Coffee on Saturday mornings from 7 to 10:30 at the AMC movie theater off Cool Springs Blvd in Franklin. Behind the McDonalds.
I'm 61 and go virtually every Saturday in my GS or Datsun 240Z or Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo.
There's also a Nashville Corvette Club.

There is nothing unique about it when you have teenagers out there driving cars that cost 2-5x more than a corvette haha, my goal was to see if there was any people of a younger age group around the TN area because the last show I went to (last weekend) I was the youngest owner there by about 25 years minimum and just got dirty looks.
Any of you corvette owners go to the Fayetteville TN area? Every so ofter, before I was an owner I would see a train of c7s roll into town and have a meet.
