Well, before you get too smug, you might want to drive a Vert with the top up.

If you have ever driven a car with them, its totally awesome, mirrors adjusted correctly or not.

Its just a way better system...

The concept sounds great to me, but I'm curious how the adhesive would hold up after using the mirror defroster? And is the defrost mode still effective with these applied?

Well, he is interested however his glass manufacturer has shut down. He is working on another supplier. I'll post back here or PM you once he has it worked out.

As far as adhesion: Multivex used a double sided tape. How good was it? 9 years so far and not a problem. That vehicle is parked outside 24x7x365 (CA). The vendor I'm talking with does his differently. He uses the OEM plastic so the mirror is installed just as if you were replacing your mirror. This is what I got from volvos80. The mirror comes with the heater, just as it would come from the dealer. The aspheric glass isn't applied to the existing mirror, it replaces the existing mirror.

And Chip is 100% right. You really don't know what you're missing until you've driven a vehicle with these on it. I decided against replacing my Tacoma specifically because I couldn't get these mirrors on the vehicle I was looking at for a replacement.

As maxpowers said, if adjusted properly there is no blind spot. You can do a search for the proper alignment of the mirror.

Yes there is, even when properly adjusted (which mine are, btw). The gap between the small rear window and the small side mirrors is huge. Much bigger than other cars (almost as much as some solid sided trucks).

Seems like a no brainer - you make them and they will be a best seller!

So over the years I've posted the same chart and adjusted my mirrors as described and for the most part it's worked out well. This past summer I rented a Mustang and drove it for 2000 miles in 8 days visiting national parks around AZ, CO, UT & NV. The Mustang has a small wide angle mirror in the upper left part of the outside mirror. With the mirrors adjusted as above, the little wide angle mirror was still nice to have. So I looked at what's available and put this little mirror on both the Corvette and my BMW's driver side mirror.s You still have most of the regular mirror and the really wide view at the bottom just adds some more useful information. I recommend it.
