If I didn't drive in the rain, I'd never drive at all, it seems.

I try not to drive in the snow, but have done so down to 9 deg.F.

I picked ours up on a day where it was 30-33 degrees, rain turning to ice back to rain, repeat. I drove from Omaha to Des Moines in a car totally unfamiliar to me and didn't have a single problem. I find it absolutely absurd that a person would own such a tremendous handling and performing vehicle and keep it as a garage queen. GM tested the C7 in over 100K miles of SNOW and how many more hundreds of thousands in the rain.

These cars aren't that hard to clean and I see that as a bullshit excuse not to drive it. Wife and I are headed to the grocery store right now as we are not taking the jeep or the dodge, we are taking the vette.

That must freak some people out, a guy using a corvette to HAUL things in, like groceries!

Don't drive mine in bad weather as it's no fun doing so and I purchased it for fun. Besides, my daily driver is the perfect bad weather vehicle, so why on earth would I drive the C7.

Only if I am already out and it starts to rain....otherwise I drive a RAM 1500 4x4 for rain, off-road and work. I have used the weather mode in the Vette and it works great, like they show you at Spring Mountain.

I don't mind driving the Corvette in the rain, it's great.
OTOH, whether we purposely drive it in the rain depends on why / where we're going.
Don't really care to drive in the rain if we planned on a random fun driving around day.
It had it's christening last year driving to Florida and back with moderate rain on the way down.
And a 3 hour stretch in Torrential Rain when we were leaving Florida.
Had the old big V tread version Michelin A/S ZP tires on for that trip

Daily driver. Stock Z51 tires until they needed to be replaced. Went with Michelin A/S 3+ ZP. Much more confident in the rain with these tires.

Heck, I've even driven it in the very occasional snow we get.

On my my 6th Corvette as daily drivers over the past 29 years - 700K+ miles - so, yes, I drive the Corvette in the rain.

Also drive the Ferrari in the rain.

A year or so ago I was in the F-car on I-35 south of Dallas and it was pouring.... cats, dogs, giraffes.... traffic was barely moving.... the rain stopped but traffic was still slow.... guy motioned for me to lower my window. I did and he called out, "Bet you wish you were in something else!" To which I replied, "No.... I'm fine. I've got one of the rare ones, it has windshield wipers."

They're cars.......

Meh, I try not to, just because I don't want to have hand wash it. I'll track it in the rain though That's fun.

Otherwise, it's a plastic/composite body on an aluminum frame. It's more than fine. This isn't 1971 where you car is going to rust away. Then again, there are people here who pop the hood when they get home from a leisurely drive to let it cool off so whatever. I don't even do that at the track It's not particularly fun to drive in the rain anyway.

That's what the daily driver is for. I can shove it into a machine car wash for $4 once a month.

Daily driver in everything but snow, Drive in weather mode on Michelin OEM’s from May to Thanksgiving then switch over to my AS3+’s. No problems and as you would in any vehicle when it’s wet, you slow down.

Yes! Depending on the reason for the trip I might use the other car. I don’t drive it in snow, I hate to drive anything in the salted snow.

I tell everybody in our Corvette Club that if it's raining for an upcoming event, my Corvette won't start.
