I don't know guys. Ya'll definitely put a bug in my head. I could not take it to the hills to test it but I did run it good on an empty highway. I think the power of suggestion is playing tricks with my head. I wanted to believe it made a big difference in the drive mode selector but I was not impressed. I could see the steering tighten up just a wee bit in the track and sport mode at higher speeds but I couldn't tell whether it was due to the speed itself or its the way the drive mode is programmed. Returning back home, driving at 55 MPH on the state highway I really could not tell what mode I was in if I wasn't looking at the dash. I guess there is something to talk about but there is definitely nothing much to get excited about. I know its a whole different experience in a higher model with all the fancy extras included and I am only referring to the base model with no extras.

My 2019 Stingray is a 1LT, M7 , no NPP, no extra anything....The only difference is a slight steering change (stiffer) in Sport as opposed to Touring. That's it. Suspension and exhaust note changes don't exist on my car. Pretty simple..

As someone mentioned, the steering effort is normally controlled by the driving mode selector- Tour gives very light (too light for me) steering, Sport give medium effort (just right for me) and Track gives noticeably heavier steering but no improvement in "feel". That's on our 2017 Z51 but I believe others work the same way. The differences are quite noticeable, espcially at lower speeds around town..

Since the steering effort can be locked in one mode by using the center touch screen and disregards the console mode selector, your car may have been set that way previously and now you won't get any change in steering when you change the driving mode.

To me all the changes are so small. I mean you floor it. It goes no matter what mode it’s in. I grew up on non power steering. So with the power steering I don’t notice the changes.

Sport 90%, I like it the best. When I want a smooth, chilled ride I go to touring, and with the new mag ride update its smooth!v

I notice a def change in steering "resistance" between T and S. I change every few weeks, but always come back to Sport. However, I am hard-pressed to notice a difference in the suspension smoothness between the two in my '17 GS (I've had the upgrade), and I don't think that has anything to do with whether "steering" or of course "sound" is hard-wired in the infotainment center. It seems steering feel can be changed by either the **** (if the infotainment setting is on "auto") or hard-wired, but the suspension is only set by the **** whether or not the steering is hard-wired...agree?

Tour mode 99% of the time, Track Exhaust 100% of the time and Rev Match activated every time I start the car.

After reading so many responses, I finally put my C7 Stingray 1LT to a good test. I took it to a large empty parking lot last week and drove it in a pre marked figure 8 circuit I created by marking it with spray paint at certain points. Then I drove the figure 8 in different modes at more or less the same speed (around 45 MPH} paying attention to the the steering, exhaust and the gear shift pattern. The steering feel is the most noticeable change with tight feel in the track and sport mode, really loose or easy feel on the touring mode and somewhere in between with the eco mode. The gear shift is slightly more aggressive on the track and sport mode and least aggressive on Eco and touring. Did not notice much or anything with the exhaust note and of course on 1LT without magnetic suspension there will be no changes with suspension. That's my conclusion folks.

Exhaust note will not change on a non-NPP (Performance Exhaust Option) Corvette.

The touring mode steering reminded me of the 1960's - 1990's recirculating ball systems. The touring mode steering was a bit stiff for around town/parking lot driving. I liked the sport mode steering the best and that where it has stayed for the last three years.

2017 A8, 1lt with mag ride. Touring to work and back. Sport on back roads, switching to track occasionally. Great car.

2017 Z06/07 M7 updated ride control.

Sport Most of the time, although I have been experimenting with Track PTM Sport 1 mode recently for spirited runs.

Exhaust always in track
