Correct which is why the when the filter was designed, rather then use the same old media/material (cotton, paper...etc) that everyone uses, the Attack Blue designed and uses Nanofibers / Nanotechnology.

Nanotechnology provides the absolute best filtration with the greatest amount of air flow hands down period. Nanofibers are so much smaller & thinner then traditional spun fibers so you can have more in an area which still allows air to flow but creates a treacherous path for dirt and debris so it gets caught up and captured.

The Attack Blue Nano filter captures dirt partials down to an unbelievable SUB MICRON level!
PLUS when tested they not only tested under ISO5011 which is the standard (which it crushed), It was taken to the next level and also tested under ASHREA 52.2 for better accurate data which is used for breathing conditions!!
The Attack Blue Nano is dry and uses NO oils which can possibly harm or foul sensors. Its washable and reusable. Just use soap and water to Clean!

The Attack Blue pat pat pending size and design is larger then stock BUT you use the same stock air box.

4 DBs louder when tested in a Z06 (which was a cool bonus)
Ridiculous goobs of power too. Tested in SAE NOT STD! (over 30 rear wheel)

Great info, thanks for posting! The above is the only drop-in air filter I'd personally consider if I were to ever go back to the stock airbox. Higher flowing, proven gains, great filtering ability, and serviceable (not disposable).

I used Amex credit card points on Amazon to get my drop in K&N. Best ZERO money ever spent for a reusable filter.
