Thinking of driving with high beams on
Anyone notice, how often people pull out in front of you in the Corvette. It’s getting to the point where I want to put on the headlights it seems driving light isn’t cutting it.

It happens to me daily regardless of the vehicle I'm driving. You forgot to include the parts where they drive 10 under, then make a left turn.

No one pulls in front of me like that...well, rarely. I'm usually moving a decent pace. People see a fast moving black corvette and usually give way. Also, they usually move out of the left lane when I come up behind them. Not 'super speeding', just going faster than most traffic.
Anyway, I really don't get cut off. Our DRLs are pretty damn bright.

Happens daily regardless of what i'm driving. Pull out in front, go 53 in a 55, all over the road, list goes on and on.

Put an LED light bar on the roof, like pickemup truck drivers do. Switch on and blind them when they cut you.

It won't fix the issue. They will still pull in front of you. Some folks just cant gauge how fast you are coming. I get it all the time and even on the freeway they will merge in right in front of me and go the same speed as the lane they just came from. Go figure?
What's worst is when I'm towing my boat or toy hauler. They make every effort to get in front of you so they don't have to follow you. Try slowing down triple axle trailers on a dime.

My other car is a Navy Blue Suburban. When I drive that at least once a day someone almost hits me, usually at about 10 MPH because they don't see it. I finally got hit in a a parking lot a few months ago by a woman who backed into me with a BMW. Scratched my bumper, broke her tall lights and bent her passenger side rear quarter.First words out of her mouth were "I saw you stopped there" I had stopped when my rear sensors went off and looked at the backup camera screen. She saw me and kept coming. She also couldn't be bothered to wait for cops, so I took a lot of pictures and filed the police report myself. Never heard from anyone (been about 6 months). Took me about 15 minutes to buff out the scratches.
I just don't get it.

I had an idiot in an SUV make a left turn in front of me. I hit them at 45 MPH without being able to brake. The SUV was so high and the nose of the Vette so low, the initial impact was about 1/3 of the way up the hood. I ended up flipping the SUV and since no direct bumper impact, my airbags didn't deploy.

High beams are great except for oncoming traffic. See if you like it next time someone comes opposite you with high beams on.

I am kind of with post 11, don't think it will help, many drivers are not focused on driving nor can they judge approaching speed of another vehicle very well.
But, driving with your fog lights and low beams on may accomplish your make me more visible goal and not blind other drivers.
Just be ready with your brakes.
Hi beams on is a known motorcycling trick and I do believe hi beams help motorcyclists when lane sharing.
Good luck.
