Was there any BOP adjustments made after LeMans?

Finally showing some speed qualifying near the front. Maybe a preview of their race setups! We can only hope.

They gotta give everyone a chance or the series will lose interest.

Great track and a great race. Gonna be a hot one. Went last year but will watch on TV this year. BOP adjustments hopefully will make for a good race.

There are only 4 teams and 8 cars in the series. That's not an overwhelming show of interest IMO.

If one team out of four wins ALL the time, the interest is lost. Does not matter how many teams or cars there are. This class, even with just four teams is very popular. They keep it that why by making it competitive....or try to.

With the massive change in rules coming for 2020, and the introduction of the hybrids, I wonder if GTLM as a strictly combustion engine power class will survive? Porsche, Ford, and GM are already making the move to hybrid cars. Should be pretty interesting the next 2 years.

They're using the standard BoP tables, there's no additional weight or restrictor adjustments

In IMSA, yes, but in WEC there are more .

And there are 5 manufacturers in IMSA - Chevy, Ford, BMW, Ferrari and Porsche. No Ferrari in this race.

Ferrari hasn't been in most of the IMSA races this year. Daytona and Sebring are the only two that I know of, and they announced today at the Glen they don't expect to see them here the rest of the year.

As for WEC, GM doesn't race but 1 WEC race, LeMans, and doesn't seem to show any interest in doing any more.

They're doing 6 Hours of Shanghai in Nov. This may be the beginning of them showing interest.

Great, but there are still 5 teams in IMSA and more in WEC

I won't hold my breath waiting for when that "5th team" decides they want to race again in IMSA.

Hopefully both cars will make it through the first few laps unscathed and can put on a team effort.
