Ordered a 2 post 9,000lb car lift. Anyone have one?
Ordered this one on Amazon . Was $1700 which sounds like a nice price for what you get. Course I would be doing the install myself which saves some $$. It's mostly so I can get my build moving quicker (long tubes, procharger, fuel system) but will be nice to get off my back on my oil changes in all my cars/trucks. Curious if anyone has this model or one similar and any thoughts on tips? I have a new garage I am building with a nice slab (with rebar) and already wired for 220v so I can just add a breaker and tie in. I preferred the 2 post so I have the most possible access.

I do not but I do have a 4 post lift, and IMHO $1700 seems like a small sum to pay for something you expect to suspend a car over your head.

I had this one installed last spring. Price included delivery and installation. Best $2500 I've ever spent. Changing oil in all of my cars standing up is priceless!
I used 4000 psi cement when I poured the floor in my new garage and poured that side of the garage 6" thick, because I knew a lift was going in. You want at least 3500 psi cement and
a minimum 4" thick.

Advanced
I wired in my 2 post, just added the breaker ran the thicker gage wire and voila done.
I actually have both a 2 and 4 post, the 4 post is for storage and the 2 post is for everything else.
Not the same lift as yours but the electric has to be damn near the same.

Issue with a 2 Post. You have to jack the car up to put it on the lift.If your just doing oil changes continue jacking and simply finish.

If the car is too low you may have to raise car slightly to slide arms where you want them. Myself not a fan of the 2 post above ground. The posts always in the way.of the doors. Make sure to install padding to protect doors from contact. I would have experienced contractor install it just to be covered in case of mishaps. It's not hard, and I know how to install it. Technically I was never officially trained. In a mishap someone will ask what made you qualified to install your lift? I don't want that question.

Yup,Skirts don't help.Got to get started on a tapered piece of wood. Then build up to the 2x somethings. That might not clear skirts. Then, tapered piece, followed by 2x something, followed by 4x something on a rubber mat.So no slide
You must have that special no slide concrete? What's that called?Rubber mat x4 wheels to clear skirts.Plus 2k for lift.
No need to shine mufflers

Getting an Atlas PV-10P 10,000 lb overhead 2 post lift installed tomorrow afternoon. The lift weighs in at 1875 lbs......more metal would seem to me to be stronger. Bought it from Greg Smith Equipment in Indy! Can't wait!

Wow what great input! Thank you all! I was a bit worried about clearance issues with my Z lowered but I can put some inclined ramps (make some or they sell them) for getting up just a bit for the jack points to slide under. I do have higher strength concrete not sure PSI will find out. Lots of great reviews on this model most seem to like it I will let everyone know how it turns out.
