Bye Bye C5
After 14yrs 196k miles, hurricane harvey and numerous tropical storms. A flash flood finally did my very LOVED C5, I already had a C7 on the way, but I wanted to keep my C5. Here's a few pics of old and new, L8R ZFLASH.

I well understand. My C5 is what brought me to Vettes in the first place and I wasn't about to get rid of my pewter coupe just because I bought a black C7. Sorry to hear about your loss.

Sincerely, not mocking you but while reading the story about your C5 I got a mental image of Tom Hanks with a beard, yelling, “WILLLLSON!” Sincerely, I hope your C7 brings you as many smiles as your Volleyball...I mean C5.

I always joked that my C5 was my wife and my '55 ford truck was my mistress, and they both took my money equally. Let the mods begin, L8R ZFLASH

So sorry to hear about the damage to your C5 - it was a really beautiful car. But, I have to say the new C7 is a very worthy replacement.

Both cars are beautiful - congrats on the C7, sorry about the loss of the C5. I also had a C5 for a similar number of years, and went to a C7 Z06 last month, and I'm sure you are finding as I am that it's a fantastic upgrade. Now what will happen to your C5?

Shame about your C5... that was a beautiful one!
On the flipside...awesome looking C7 with what looks like a spectacular wrap job! My first reaction was that it had been repainted in the Chromalusion paint that was all the rage for a while.
