Default What do you call this plastic part behind the tailights?

Guys, what is the name of this piece and is there an option to order it in carbon flash or gloss black?
Mine is currently gray along with the fender vents and it's okay but would like to know if there is an option aside getting it painted.

Thanks!

Lamp Bezel, and yes, you can get them in Carbon Flash Metallic. Gm part numbers 22790955 (right) and 23406884 (left).

Hopefully the install isn't that tedious!

Gray isn't that common. Maybe see if someone is willing to trade you.

Yeah I saw the install video, just snaps out.

The $70+ ones from GM Direct, etc all want $50 to ship to LA.. Even Trunk Monkey is around $30 to ship lol
Not sure if it's worth the hassel to spend $200 :/

Default Inserts

Check your RPO codes!! Gray inserts are a rare option, you might not want to change them out.

Probably the rather rare factory option listing at $595. Do you really want to change them? I don't think so.

Does being rare make them any less ugly to him?

OP, I would try posting an add for a trade on here. Might be able to swap them straight up with someone for the normal carbon flash ones.

Under your rear badge, my vette has "corvette" in raised lettering. Do the black vettes don't come with it?

It's a common mod to remove them. I personally like the lettering. Breaks up the back a little more. (also, my black lettering tones down my yellow car more)

Yeah I took off the Corvette letter emblem when I got my car wrapped. I may or may not put it back on...

Hmm, I'm not sure if anyone will want the gray bezel, it looks good, different but it doesn't really match the bumper. I may just pony up and buy the carbon flash bezel

My gray unique lamp bezel is on sale now lol

If they aren't what ya want, who cares? Change them!

OP's choice.

Guy in post #8 and I are just giving him some information (it's a somewhat rare and pricey option) and giving our opinions.

BTW, there is some advantage to a completely stock car at resale time, but of course it's his choice.

take them all off and take them to a body chop, they can paint all of them Carbon Flash for under 100 bucks
