Just Ordered a 2019 Grand Sport
Hello, everyone! It's been several years since I posted on the forums. I briefly owned a 2010 Coupe, then purchased a new 2012 GS 1LT in July 2012, and owned it for four years. Loved the car, but my son was showing great interest in fishing, so I sold the car and bought a boat so we could spend quality time together on the lake. It was a great decision, and we still use the boat a ton.
As I'm sure you can all attest to, the Corvette bug bites hard and fast, and I've been missing my C6 GS for quite some time. The itch got to be too much...I ordered a 2019 GS 2LT 7sp manual with Nav/PDR, in black paint and black interior yesterday. Looking forward to receiving the car! They tell me 4-8 weeks...will be a long wait, and I suspect it'll be on the long end of that timeframe.
Anyway, I thought I'd share my excitement with the group!

Thanks, everyone! I already have my Hawk pads ready to swap out as soon as I get the car home. I remember the awful dust on my C6 GS, so that's a Day 1 upgrade. Also thinking about having the alignment checked out...I remember my C6 GS ate the inside edge of my front tires before I realized the thing shipped with a track alignment!
