Not a generic, but I was looking at one of the Weathertech custom fit shades. Did you look into one of those, or has anyone else tried one?

Weathertech makes good stuff and I'm sure it fits fine. Had weathertech for other vehicles but not the vette. In general I would avoid a roll up shade as it will be a pain to install in tight quarters unless you always have a passenger to help unroll. I purchased the west cost fold-up and it's solid and easy to install/remove from the drivers seat and neatly stores on the deck behind the seats when off.

Most of the insulated folding accordion type sunshades (which are resold by Retailers) are produced by Covercraft (UVS100 Series) and can be purchased online for ~$55 (without printed Vette logos)...The Covercraft p/n is UV11325SV for C7 Corvette...
You can enter "UV11325SV" into search on either Ebay or Amazon or Google to find best price....
I've purchased Covercraft insulated sunshades for all my new vehicles and they hold up extremely well and keep the cabin fairly cool when parked out in the sun...A "must-have" here in the SoCal Desert area....

Just an extra thought . . . if you have a Vert, the accordion style fits nicely in the trunk under the space reserved for the top--that's what I use. However, I think the roll-up types are easier to place and lighter--just take up more space when not in use.

That's where I keep mine.

We bought a high dollar logo'd hard panel accordion sun shade. From a reputable forum vendor. Looked mah va lus. It lasted a year +/- and it fell apart. Waste Mgmt now has custody of it. We bought a cheapie silver nylon twist up from Costco for $10. Now 2 years later, we still use it everyday. And so it goes.

I've not procured them for my C7 - yet. I thought I'd see if the two from my Mercedes Benz sedan fit, so I can get an idea of size needed.
***Is there a source for an external coverage sunshade? Since this wouldn't let the magnified rays of the sun even reach the glass. That would be ideal. For RVs, this type of sunshade is secured on either side, by the then closed front doors. Not sure I'd want to put too much of a thickness of material in between the C7's glass and A pillar.
