Competition Carbon front bumper and ZR1 cooling compatible!!
Here is what I have been working on. About to launch my CompetitionCarbon.com for all of my products.
My vision of a cleaner ZR1 front bumper. Smoother appearance of one opening that is split into sections for the same cooling area as a ZR1 bumper, minus the puckered lips appearance of the ZR1 front.
5 ZR1 coolers and two pumps ordered so I can build proper ducting for them. Will retain brake ducts and parking cameras still.
will have two versions of carbon splitter. With the bigger ones are fully supported by stability rods, fastened to the body of the car so they are fully functional. Smaller splitter will be for the ones that aren’t into hardcore tracking or he race car looks.

Looking forward to the track version! I want to add a wing as drag sucks. This might be a nice ticket to add DF to the front.

You can see where I get the inspirations from. Performante bumper is so beautiful!!

I wish the stock front end looked like that and had that kind of opening. I can tell this is going to look awesome when it's done.

Swamped with filling orders. This is what I got as of last Wednesday. Will see if I have any more progress pics today. As far as cooling kit, you can use ZR1 coolers with a full LT5 blower swap or just making your own lines and pumps. Shouldn’t be too difficult since coolers can be adapted for personal kit easily.

Silly question, but why carbon? I can't imagine may people just want an exposed carbon bumper cover. I doubt it's much lighter than plastic and probably a lot more difficult to work with, make, paint and repair. Not to mention cost.

Make a Non-Carbon Fiber version designed to fit '14-present Stingray's at an affordable price point......and you will have to "hire" help to carry all the money to the bank.

Just waiting on more filler to come in today to add dividers to split the opening into 3 sections. Should have close to final form or done by the end of the week

Is this going to require removal or alteration of the front crash bar?

Subscribed... I've always thought a bit lambo design would help the C7. In 2015 someone did a rendering of the Z06 with a Lambo bumper it looked spectacular ! This may be hard to do but come up with a grill that is similar to the oem would help.

No, crash bar will be in the same location, just above the opening of the bumper.
That will be too expensive to do something like a 3D printed one. I’ll find some existing plastic grille and cut to fit, maybe. Just adding too much to the cost. Simpler metal mesh grille will keep the overall cost down.

I think it would look rad being completely open, but then again, I like gold wheels on my car.

Update on the bumper. 95% done with the final shape. Vertical dividers will be trimmed way down to show off the built in splitter on the bottom. Flat carbon under tray will complete the bumper. Aggressive undertray/huge splitter will also be available for track rats.
Bumper should be ready to ship after SEMA. Building my widebody at the same time.
