Default Finally decided to upgrade

I finally decided to upgrade from my 2016 Laguna Blue Z51 to a GS. The wife got the major vote on this one and picked a 19 Long Beach Red Vert. Got to say we love the car and it rides so much different than the 16. Hard to believe the difference. Already have the first 500 done and oil changed, let me tell you it was hard doing the breaking period after trading in a Z51 that you could play with.

Wow, what a super combination. Kalahari might be my favorite interior color, and it goes with the rest of the car just great. Hope to see you cruising HW95 out here on the St. Croix sometime. (By the way, just interested where you purchased it?)

Actually got it down in Belle Plain at Matt Saxe. Was looking for something different and they had exactly what we wanted. Pretty darn good trade value also. I will say that their detailing guy needs to be replaced but I did not buy for them to detail it. Overall good experience with them.

Excellent! Could you please expand on your comment that "the ride is so much different"? In what way? Thanks.

Cant really say exactly what it is but it rides and handles better. The ride seems smoother in touring mode, could be that my 16 needed the software update and i never did it, just not sure. I will say that you can definitely tell a difference. Could be the whole going from a coupe to a vert thing also.

Just a tip: If Smarttop has been updated for 2019, I would highly recommend it. Best mod I have made yet! It adds a few neat functions, but for me the highlight is being able to raise the top and windows using the remote. You also don't have to hold the button all the time the top is going down--something that worked off and on for me.

Beautiful color combination, and really like that it is a convertible, and no black wheels!

Congrats. on the very nice upgrade!

Sounds like your 16 Z51 had MSRC? If your new GS, has MSRC, well, then yes, your 19 will ride much differently (better) going from others reports of after getting theirs (pre-18s) upgraded software.

Great to hear you chose the ragtop, too!

Beautiful color combo, what color top? I agree, the bright wheel really set it off.
