Quick Jack Question
I showed my wife a picture of the Quick Jack and she said, "get one." So with that said, which model did you fellas get. Seems everyone is using the 5000lb model. Is it the BL-5000SLX or the BL-5000EXT. Just want to make sure I get the right length model. Thanks.

OK, I'm curious....... WHY did you get rid of them both? Didn't like the product, or just didn't want, or need them any longer?
I was just reading on another fresh thread about how many folks love the thing. I too was on the website reading all about it.

The EXT is pretty new. I have the 5000-SLX and it works great.

I love my QuickJack. I went with the BL-7000SLX, that way I can use it for all of my vehicles and not worry about how much they weigh. I think that it was only about $100 more than the 5000.

I read another thread where a few guys had the 7000SLX. I just ordered mine last week, and went with the 7000, so I can work on the wifes SUV as well. More room to use it on other cars with the extra capacity.
I also used coupon code "auto" for $100 off.

Unfortunately my ‘17 had problems with the A8 and rather than deal with it, I decided to get rid of it before it caused more headaches down the road.

5000 or 7000
Keep in mind the side skirts on the GS causes very low side clearance. How low can the 7000 series go. I purchased the 5000 seriee because I thought it was thin enough to slide under the side skirt. I have no information on the 7000 series.

^^^ I saw on the manufacturer's spec sheet where it said the 7000 was 3.9" min height.

Get a four post lift . These take up to much room and leak. A back yard buddy is the best . USmade. You think Chevrolet would build into the car a hydraulic jack

How much does each piece of the 7000 series weigh?

I'd say 7000SLX also. Just got mine a few months ago and love the ease of use, and wanted something that would lift my wife's whale of a Durango R/T. With the car at stock height and the short blocks installed the frames slide right under the side skirts.
And for all the 'get a 4 post' folks, yeah that would be nice if you have the garage space and clearance (ceiling, door tracks, etc.) but you can't take your 4 post over to a friends house. And the price is right.

Anyone using the 5000EXT? I want to make sure it works on the C6/C7. I ask because I also want to be able to use it for my 2017 Charger. Thanks.
