Default Your Vette Song

Not the song you like to play while driving but the song that, in your mind, you most associate or best represents
your car to you. I think, for me, it's Supertramp's, "Take the long way home" as I often find some way to put the
top down and find an excuse for an extra 10 minutes behind the wheel...…..you?

So many possibilities… I have decided Don’t Look Back by Boston is my current C7 favorite. “ The road is callin, today is the day! “

This is easy for me!
Well, shooting down the highway like a bullet from a gun
Wind blowing in my face, really having fun
Step on the throttle, when you wanna hear the sound
I got the throttle wide open, all wheels left the ground

Well I ain't got a worry and I don't give a damn
I tell you pretty baby I'm a fast livin' man
When I Step on the throttle, then you gonna hear the sound
I got the throttle wide open, all wheels left the ground

Well shooting past some wagons and nipping through the lanes
People think I'm crazy, like I ain't got no pains
They don't understand, man I'm just fooling around
I got the throttle wide open, all wheels left the ground

Well, skimming down the highway like a bullet from a gun
Wind blowing in my face, really having fun
Step on the throttle, when you wanna hear the sound
I got the throttle wide open, all wheels left the ground

Back in Black by AC/DC for me. My very first car was a black 1982 Recaro Edition Trans Am (yes, it was a POS, but it was my POS). I never thought I’d have another black car, but I just loved the way the C7 looked in black.

“Thunderstruck” by AC/DC.

Every time the LT4 fires up or accelerates, I hear THUNDER!

"Danger Zone"

Revvin' up your engine
Listen to her howlin' roar
Metal under tension
Beggin' you to touch and go

Highway to the danger zone
Ride into the danger zone

Headin' into twilight
Spreadin' out her wings tonight
She got you jumpin' off the deck
And shovin' into overdrive

Highway to the danger zone
I'll take you
Right into the danger zone

They never say "Hello" to you
Until you get it on the red-line overload
You'll never know what you can do
Until you get it up as high as you can go

Nice, nice, very nice (oops another song)……..the point is; among certain cars and certain songs, there are characteristics that make them timeless.....thanks for sharing these works of art...

Ditto... just picked up my second black C7. There could be only one song.
