To whom? It depends. But if you want the closest idea of what your car is worth today, to the lowest bidder/buyer which is usually a trade, the most recent auction of cars similar to yours and as close by (auction) as possible. jmo

Friend bought a brand new 18 Accord less than 60 days ago..life happened in a big way, car has to go.
He put 12k down on it, Carmax said the car was too new....and if they did take it they wouldnt give him one red cent. He would basically eat the 12k

The "real value" is whatever someone is willing to pay, on that particular day, in that particular location. NADA, KBB etc are just guidelines. Especially when it comes to specialty enthusiast cars. There's too many variables to be able to come up with a specific price that everyone (or anyone) can agree on.

The dealer will offer you maybe 30 K and put it on their lot for 47 K. The guy selling it privately will ask 42 K and you might be able to get him down to 39 K. All depends who will budge first.
By the way I remember taking my C6 to CarMax because people told me they'd give me a great non haggle price and buy my car. The CarMax guy told me, he'd have to replace the 6 month old Nitto INVO's because they weren't original tires and reduced the price by 2 K. Needless to say, don't believe everything people tell you.

I was speaking to a guy at carmax about this last week. He said that in general their offers tend to be pretty close to edmunds. There are many other factors as noted above, but it'll give you a general idea.

Unless it's got MSRC, Z51, and or a few other nice options on it, you're overpaying for the car. You have no warranty, and you're paying top retail dollar for a 1LT (stripped of trim options), 6 year old car with zilch favorable trim/options.

I can't stand how people make a huge deal out of freaking worn tires. People will say "Well, the tires aren't brand new, better take $2K of the price." What a load of crap. It's just an easy way for tire kickers to find a "flaw" to knock it down a little bit. /R

Not to sound like a smarta**, but like with anything else, it is whatever you can get from a buyer.
All the sources you list give some estimate of what that MIGHT be, but as anyone who has ever auctioned a car (or anything else) knows, price can vary considerably, and unexpectedly in either direction. It might be nifty or convenient if it were otherwise... but it's not.
