Cannot say I'm surprised by their conclusion. I have yet to read any sports car comparo where the Corvette wasn't the best value or even the overall winner.
Not saying If I had very deep pockets I wouldn't be driving one of those high priced exotics instead of a Corvette. However, if one wants a very nice sports car that looks good parked next to any of those exotics, and can even run w/ that "pack" for a fraction of their price, the Corvette is an outstanding choice.

I saw one of these Astons at the parking lot at work yesterday, and I have to say it's gorgeous. But there are two things I disagree with in the article. The author claims: (1) The Vette doesn't look good with the top up. I couldn't disagree more, and (2) the Vette has a better infotainment system. It's Mickey Mouse. The graphics are awful, and you have to press hard on the cheap plastic screen. I doubt that's true for the M-B-sourced Aston system.

I agree the best bang for the buck is the Vette. The Vette is a sports car and Aston Martin is an expensive luxury sports car , each made for different lifestyle. Even if I could afford an AM I would still own a C7.

Such comparisons are silly, imho.
