Not liking your Corvette color
Hi Everyone,
I have found a crazy deal on a new corvette with black color. Deal is so good that I can not pass on that.
My previous car color is black but I do not like it on C7.
Do you guys suggest that I buy it and then wrap it to different color?
Is it easy? How much will it cost to wrap?

I have a black C7. I think it looks sinister A F. Black looks good on just about any car. You really don't like it on the C7?
Black was my 2nd choice...gray was first...black or red were even 2nd choices for me.

On C7 I think it hides the beauty of the car, does not show all curves.

If I were you, I’d either keep looking or just get the black. There are plenty of Corvettes to choose from...one of them is in the color you like. Don’t settle.

It'll be about $4-5K to wrap an entire C7 properly. Wraps are cool are if want to change the look of your car just for the heck of it but it shouldn't be used as a permanent solution because you hate the color of your car.
Color is something you shouldn't settle on, If you're going to spend $50-60K on a car buy exactly what you want, don't settle.

Better to forget about that.
4-5k is also too much, will kill the deal.

Actually I am searching the whole country. There are not that many good deals in California.
Best deals are on east coast and I am willing to pay for shipping on a good deal.
For now I am trying to find good deal on 2017 leftovers new.
If I can not find what I want, I will wait and in December go for used one.

This is the one I am talking about.
MSRP is 79k, fully optioned and it is 30k off! really crazy!
Someone better take it soon before I get tempted again, haha

The other benefit with wrapping is my paint is pristine. When I go to sell I never have to worry about paint quality or whether someone else wants a neon green car, burnt orange, or any other ridiculous color I've done in the past. Hell my last Camaro I had it in 3 different colors over the 5 years I owned it. Started with red, went to neon green, and finished with a nice shade of blue.

Unless....
You go for it because of the outstanding price and use some of the savings to redo those red interior parts. Just sayin'...

I disagree. I hate black cars, but I always buy black cars because I get the whole car wrapped and black works best. I only have to wrap the exterior and don't have to worry about the frame when the doors are open, hood is up, etc. That and if you shop around a full wrap on a C7 can be had for $2500 or so (using 3M or Avery).

I was going to say, Go for it and learn to love that black exterior...until...I saw that mashup of red and black in the interior. I'm sure it's wonderful to some guys, but my eyes would hurt every time I got in it to go somewhere. I couldn't live with it.

Something is there and does not let me love it.

Black is awesome. But it's not for everyone. And, more than any other color, you have to commit to keep it clean. Don't get it if you have any doubt. Lots of C7s out there.

And that’s why it’s still sitting there and they can’t even seem to give it away. $30K is an outstanding offer for the guy who likes that mashup of red and black inside the car.
