Default [Question] I know this is in the wrong place, but...

I would ask this over in the C7 Forum but I'm terrified of those people. Is the C7 going to be available and still in production after the C8 starts production?

I guess the question is, is the C8 going to spell the end of the front-engine C7?

no, the FE/RD layout will be around for a while yet. The ME will be to expensive for GM to make decent money on, it will be low volume. The Corvette has been and always will be the working man's sportscar, GM will not change that.

I see the mid engine being an addition to the lineup.

Your question has not be answered yet. There hasn't even been a formal announcement of an ME yet or how many different package or styles that will be available.
Everything is speculation.

I don't put a hell of a lot past GM anymore.

Well they are making a ZR1 and it is absolutely front engine so that definitely changed what I was thinking for the last year was that when the C8 came out the C7 would be done. This of course meant to me that they would be dumping old stock and would have incentives to buy and I was kind of looking forward to that. Ever since I decided not to buy in 2013, I have been kicking myself in the *** and have said many times I will not do that again. I would be perfectly happy with the last model year of the run, I have already done the first model year and was not thrilled with that experience.

Car & Driver says the mid-engine Vette is imminent. Like they’ve been saying for 50 years. GM isn’t saying anything.

Well they've got pics of mules out there and there isn't much question they're working on the plant. So something is coming.

You tried so hard, and yet here it is.

I did give you a thanks, however. . We really aren't a bad lot.

Short ANSWER, YES.

Long ANSWER, no one knows.

The conspiracy theorists are burning up C8 forum.

They're now up to 3 gunmen on the "grassy knoll" in Dallas.

Some of them are ready for straight jackets. Knock yourself out looking for Oswald and Ruby C8.
