Don't know who it was, but this pulled up next to me at a light yesterday and I almost offered to Zaino it myself.

Toss 'em a few quarters and point in the direction to the nearest car wash.

Back in 2006, I was looking for a parking spot in a crowded lot and found 1 open in the shade under a nice tree. Just the 1. Since I never parked there, I didn't think much of it, or payed any attention to the visible signs all over the ground.

Parked for approximately 20 minutes. Came out, and my car literally had about 80 spots of bird **** all over it.

No wonder the spot was open.

And I had to drive my vette in rush-hour traffic to the car wash. The looks I got were priceless.

If his car had been dirty prior to him parking it, there would not be any bird crap on it. They only aim for clean shinny cars...

that looks like NW Expressway & Portland intersection, lots of office buildings around there have trees people like to park under for shade, but then stuff like that happens.

Other than the bird poop, the car looks in great shape, ie no curb rash so my guess is this poor soul just pulled out from a space which was located under a tree and the car was probably there for quite awhile.

I always worry about bird crap when parked in the Corvette Corral at Road America. The car is usually in the sun, but trees/birds are nearby. I check on it periodically during the day when we move to various viewing areas on the track as I don't want any crap to stay on all day and etch the clear. It doesn't take long to penetrate the finish when in the hot sun. Nasty stuff, for sure!

Could be worse.... I got dive bombed in the top of the driver's door...while pulling up to a stop sign......with the roof out.......and a couple coworkers walking across the intersection. There is no "cool" way to get pooped on and have to wipe off the side of your face....

When the temps during the day are over a 100...parking under a tree makes sense.

Bird **** washes off....your ego's will survive...I think.

We didn't get bombed on at the Corvette Corral at Road America this last weekend but....! We were staying at the Baymont Hotel in Manitowoc for the weekend and stopped there Saturday evening to clean up before we went out for supper. Just as we were coming out to the car to drive over to Lurgies, a sea gull bombed the car. Managed to leave a trail from the hood, over the black convertible top, across the truck & left a huge blotch all over the black spoiler. Being we had reservations to get to, there was no stopping to wash on the way. Boy did we get the looks. One guy in a pickup had a clear view of the top so after driving right beside us for a while to take a good look, drove off laughing! (not the usual reaction to the car) As soon as we done eating, it did get washed. Good thing it had just been polished before we left for the weekend & that we had the top up.

I cringe at the BSM (Body Side Molding). C5s look so much better without them.

You can Zaino my car. Once a week every week if you're looking to be a really Good Neighbor.

When I picked up my Vette at the NCM I made the mistake of parking under a tree at the Drury Inn. Next day it was completely covered with bird droppings. I used the wipers to smear the stuff around enough so I could see out, then dropped my rental at the NCM for them to deal with. Next night I parked out in the open at the Drury. I've also got nailed twice now by automatic sprinklers at hotels. Park away from any green grass if at all possible.
